Black students fleeing Mizzou

People always give me the side eyes when they talk about how I have to go see Europe and the Southern States. I just straight hit em with the "Nope."

Subconscious racism is bad enough, I don't need white people pounding their chests at me. I'm liable to act out.

I hear that brother. Getting a degree from an HBCU is such an empowering experience. Throughout my whole academic career k- grad school, I've had a hand full of black teachers and professors. I've gained sooooo much knowledge studying under people who look like me and share similar life experiences.

I wish racism would cease to exist. Morgan Freeman's view on black history month definitely just opened my eyes.

I agree, I went to one and loved it, I know a few of my boys from high school would not have would not have enjoyed their time there
 
it depends on which hbcu you to go tho..

Your not going to get the same experience if you to Central State than Howard or Hampton
 
I hate to say it but I wouldn't be surprised if something really pops off at this school. Like I said in the other thread. White racist go crazy when they see black people organized and showing some power. It hurts their soul. This feels like a time bomb.
 
This is outright 1950s all over again.

This is will keep happening until white people finally accept their roll in all of this.

And honestly there's only like 10 hbcu I even **** with overall. Majority are falling off dramatically because of states cutting back funding and alumni bases that don't donate

I do think if you go to a PWI you should embrace at least one black organization that's on campus

That will never happen in our lifetimes. They already allow light Hispanics to call themselves white just to keep the system of white supremacy thriving. So even if euro white people become outnumbered they'll still thrive because of white Hispanics identifying and embracing white supremacy
