I never understood this thinking you guys have.

Many pale hispanics are often majority European blood to begin with. In their home country they are considered white and descended from creoles (white people born in the colonies).

So why would it surprise you that they think of themselves as white?

The bible is a gift and a curse.

The source from which it comes from is YOUR ****. The problem is Christianity doesn't allow you to view it through the lens from which you were meant to view it.

Our People are brainwashed into believing that it's a historical account of things that took place before and that hides the metaphysical aspect of it. So it's a great book to read...but if you can't decode it properly, it can hurt you.

You were never meant to externalize the concept of god...and that is not at all the same thing in not "believing" in one. That's how they got us.

Spaniards specifically are just spanish speaking white ppl.

That they got on their conquering grind, raping and taking over most of South America doesn't mean those descendants can act like they're above that and front like that aint the facts of history cuz they got complexion for the protection.

As crazy as it sounds whites trust Blacks more than Hispanics. We share a similar culture because for the most part we've been here since day one. There was a black president before a Hispanic president. Hispanics are too foreign for most whites to vote for a Hispanic politician at the presidential level. Not to say that the pres has power to challenge white supremacy but the election of Obama and Carson's poll succes in the Republican Party over Hispanic Republican candidates like Rubio and Cruz shows that even white Republicans for the most part trust Black candidates over Hispanic candidates. So I'm not sure about the notion of Hispanics being accepted into whitness when we have bills like Sb 1070 in Arizona and other states that target both illegal and legal Hispanics. Trumps speaking points about immigrants are anti-Hispanic code.
 
There's a huge difference between being Spanish and Hispanic.

One can check white on the box all the want but once they write Jose Contreras on the job application, the employer whose most likely is white is going to know that Jose isn't White like John Smith the employer.
 
Argentina is known as a country that ethnically cleansed the indigenous population so it could be a country with more Europeans.

There's a difference between with what one identifies as and what society sees you as. I can say I'm white and think I'm white but it doesn't mean that society is going to see me as a white person. Jose can check the box white but once he sits down with an employer that doesn't mean the employer is going to see him as white.
 
Lots of ignorance being spewed about Latinos in here. I am Latino, but I am also white. My parents and grandparents were born in Argentina. My great-grandparents are from Italy and Russia. My ethnicity is Latino, my race is Caucasian. I am not a "pawn of white supremacy" here in America. I am well aware of my identity. Please do me and those like me a favor, do not speak on what you know little about because then you are no better than the "supremacists" you seek to combat.

This is true white supremacy and colorism is a global issue. The darker Hispanics/Latinos are usually at the bottom of the totem poll and treated like trash I'm most Latin countries.
