New Patrice O'Neal Album in December

Patrice O’Neal was a brilliant comedian, and we lost him too soon. If like us, you want to hear and own every available minute of Patrice’s comedy, you’ll want to grab The Lost Files: 2005.

All of the proceeds of the new album will go directly to Patrice’s family. You will be able to order it at patriceoneal.com for $7.99, but fans are invited to pay what they want beyond that.

You can also preorder the album on iTunes or Amazon.com where The Lost Files is getting a December 4th release, but it costs a little bit more there- $9.99 and you won’t get the option to tack on a donation to help Patrice’s family.

Patrice’s widow, Von Decarlo said the Lost files is a surprise project that she didn’t even know existed. “It is a classic night of comedy with Patrice intended to be his first album in 2005, but was never completed on the production end, thus never released,” she said. “It was lost in the shuffle only to be discovered years after his passing as a gem to be shared. In keeping Patrice’s legacy thriving, I am happy to present another compilation of his work for the fans to listen to and hold close to their hearts.”

Some of the track listings include “I Like Being Racist,” “Women Don’t Know How to Be Happy,” “***** Threats,” and “How to Keep Your Man Happy” so you know you’re getting classic Patrice.

Patrice had an amazing list of credits and yet, they were not nearly as many as he deserved, appearing on Letterman, Conan, Fallon, Ellen, Tough Crowd, Def Comedy Jam, Opie and Anthony, and Unmasked with Ron Bennington. He had three specials with Comedy Central, an HBO special, roles on Arrested Development and The Office, and hosted two of his own shows, Shorties Watching Shorties and WebJunk 20.

As Patrice’s bio on his website said, in 1969, Patrice O’Neal got his start in a uterus. He passed away November 29th 2011 due to the complications of the stroke he suffered on October 19. Many lost a close and loved friend; all of us lost a true comic genius.

He is missed every day.
