Steph Curry is an all time great shooter

Lebron is a more well rounded player though

WHAT?   Maybe if you're comparing the average NBA player to the average non-NBA player, but who does that?
Just talking basketball in general.
I try to cover all levels of knowledge when posting.
You got some people that really think some NBA players are "trash".

Now WNBA is another story.
I truly believe I can beat a WNBA player in a best 2 out of 3.
I'll drain a 3 on her and yell "I'm back!"

lol @ him trying to rationalize it. Ain't nobody in here comparing pro-athletes to the average Joe.
Bro people will say "Steph Curry is a great player".
Yes Steph is a great player, but every cat in the league is a great "player".
At this point being a great player in the NBA really makes you an average basketball player, when compared to the greatest players ever.

Essentially the water is getting muddied because every generation wants to stake claim to having the "greatest" player.
So if we are going to say Steph Curry is great, then we need to come up with other words to describe Wilt, Russell, Jordan, LeBron, Kobe, Bird, Magic, and so on and so on.
Because we can't keep using the same words to describe everybody.

am i the only one who thinks this jersey kinda nice?
That jersey is nice. It looks better when you win the NBA Finals in them, though.

Hold up. I didn't realize it was a poll with this thread.
49% voted Steph Curry the best player in the world

I don't think Steph Curry is a great player, I think he will be. I think he's already a great 3 point shooter. The point about comparing these athletes to regular people is dumb, let's just kill that. Nobody in these discussions measure greatness in relation to the average Joe. We are measuring greatness in relation to pros and other great players.

I think Steph is an elite player and a great shooter. The heirarchy goes (using playoff players)

Great/Legend-Bron, Duncan

Elite-CP3, Durant, Westbrook, Kyrie, Steph, Harden

Good-Kyle Lowry, Kevin Love :/ , Deandre Jordan

Serviceable-Shumpert and JR Smith

Trash-Patrick Beverly, Harden (defense)
Patrick Beverly is a role player. He is excellent at his role.e

I got crucified for saying bron was the best all around player between them lol
As someone that got to watch Magic and Showtime, Dr. J and the 76ers, Bird and the Celtics.
Ewing, Olajuwon, and Jordan were still in college at the time.
Everyone expected Ewing and Olajuwon to dominate the league, so that's kind of what makes MJs dominance so special.

With that being said, my early exposure to LEGENDARY basketball players is the reason I refused to fall for the 3pt revolution known as the Splash Brothers.

HO did dominate tho

Could care less all about the armchair narratives. Fact is his resume right now puts him in the hall of fame. Period

Dream had footwork like no other. I don't know if they would have beaten the Bulls though. Those boys were TOUGH!!!!

lol, at least make the argument that if he keeps up this pace he will. Dude has like 3 years under his resume, and we don't know if he can stay healthy enough to play at a high level.

Dude

He's broken multiple 3pt shooting records

He's already a 2 time league mvp and an nba champion

He just came off of a season in which he was 30 a game on 50/45/90

He now has multiple first team all nba selections and all star appearances

If he retired today he would be a hof'er easily and if you cant see that you're a blind hater thats typing to be typing

The argument is whether or not he's a firsr ballot but thats obvious too.

How many two time league mvps dont make the hof? Yall being silly
