Bron, KD, Westbrook and Curry are the top 4 NBA players.

Curry the most unstoppable. The ability to shoot like that with handles like that is insane. Also the ability to be a playmaker and finish at the rim just puts him at #1 for me.

have no real understanding of the game of basketball

Armchair Doc Rivers over here acting like he's dropping knowledge.

Gone back to the "herp derp you don't know basketball!" well one too many times. Congrats on being First Team All-Suburbs.

Some more stats that will get spun and pointed out as hollow :pimp:

not even 10 games into the season you pull out stats. last i checked the season was 82 games

group think NTer sitting home listening to anything skip bayless and espn spew out

Tell us about your basketball knowledge me mr Naismith

doesnt take much basketball knowledge to know more than you 2.

"shooting and dribbling is all that matters" and "curry plays better D than lebron"

"curry is better than lebron because lebron has only eliminated 7, 50 win teams"

"curry is better than lebron because lebron is 2-4 in the finals"

"pass first point guards dont win championships"

this is the nonsense that has came out of you 2 for the last 7 pages

way too much "i dont like the things you're saying" and not enough actual reasons to why you think lebron is better

probably because you dont have any

i almost never go as far to say as someone doesnt understand something. but its to the point where some of you are just spewing out nonsense fueled by lebron hate.

and again, i like LBJ and curry. curry is doing amazing things. but to say he's overall a better player than lebron right now at this point, 10 games into a new season is a bit premature

lebron is still a slightly better overall player than curry because outside of outside shooting and dribbling the ball, LBJ is better or equal to curry in every other facet of the game.

same thing people have been saying for pages.

arent you the guy that said curry is a better defender than lebron? go back to the lebron hate thread homie

laugh.gif
at people thinking lebron can play defense

he was legit shook everything he switched on curry in the finals, spent most of the time yelling a teammates to switch back

its obvious who only reads espn articles rather than actually watching basketball contests

agreed anyone who says lj still plays defense is just talking nonsense.  watching to much espn.....

yall got it.

no use even debating anymore

lebron is the worst defender in the nba, all his stats are hollow and there is no way the cavs would be up 2-1 after 3 games if it wasnt for mosgov and dellavadova.

i get it.

This is quite the Bill O'Reilly spin you're putting on things right now. I posted things and reasons on why I think LeBron James is vastly overrated -- never once did I say "Steph Curry > LeBron" because of them.

The 7 50-win teams was in regards to MJ.

The 2-4 in the finals was in regards to his legacy.

Post the exact quotes instead of making up lies.

I'm glad some people finally realized that this thread is, in fact, about the 10 games played this season. That this thread is about who you would take TODAY -- not who has the greatest legacy.

But eh, reading is fundamental and all that.

the question wasnt "is lebron overrated?" it was, has curry passed lebron as the best overall player in the game today?

Doesn't give you the right to take quotes out of context and spin them to your little hearts content, tho.

LeBron shot under 30% outside of 5 feet. If Delly and Mozgod didn't save his ***, ol boy was getting swept yet again. LeBron stays getting credit for putting up hollow stats. Most overrated player in NBA history.

delly and mosgov saving lebron? lebron avg almost a trpile double in the finals being "hollow"? how can a 4x league MVP be overrated?

In the 6 games against Lebby's Incredible Defense, Iggy had 5 double digit performances (highlighted by a 25 point game and a 22 point game). 5 out of 6 games. Finals MVP.

Statistics doe

neglects to mention that lebron doesnt guard iggy or anyone else on every single play. also fails to mention that harrison barnes and klay thompson had horrible and bad series performances offensively (which also saw heavy minutes with lebron defending)

also fails to mention that iggy played 10+ more minutes than he usually did in any other playoff series (almost 1 full quarter)

Since it was ignored earlier, here's 15 minutes of Lebby "defending" during the finals

if you really watch this video and the other one posted, and were honest and unsalty about it, you would see that this "15 min video" really should be about 2 mins. and you would also be honest and say that any other player that is on court as much as lebron would have the same amount of defensive inefficiencies

LeBron James hasn't been a defense force for a few years now. If you think otherwise, you don't understand the game of basketball. wink.gif

he was all defense 3rd team last year. i never said he was a great defender now. at one time in his career he was. but now, he's still a good defender. and by all means still better than curry (who most times leaves duties of guarding the other teams pg up to klay thompson)

Yep. In 2015, as a general manager, you are given the opportunity to pick either Lebby James or Steph Curry.

Not 2006 Lebby James. Not broken ankles Steph Curry. 2015 Lebby or Steph.

what kind of an argument is this? when making this argument, age is always one of the biggest factors in determining who you would choose, lebron is older, so of course you choose curry. in order for this to be a relevant debate, you have to choose between both players at the same age and point in their careers...in which you would then choose lebron in a landslide.

these are just a few of your exact quoted posts.

i am def not knocking you. you have been the only one that has based the debate on some good facts. my bad for saying you have no basketball knowledge, because its obvious that you do. but a few of these other guys are just plain talking silly.

but in the same breath to not ackknowledge any points i've made like i havent been using stats or fact based evidence is nonsense as well.

not even talk to you homie.

i am commenting to direct quotes that the other dude made. so if you're asking why i am talking about last years finals, you should ask him the same question.

or just dont comment period

 you tell someone not to post

Through 10 games this year Curry is the best player in the world, you can present all the hypotheticals you want and it's not going to change a thing but hey you have outstanding basketball knowledge

I think Lebron at his best(healthy) would be the better player, but Curry is playing better right now so he's the best player. Warriors fan btw.
