Thoughts everyone? Has been a popular discussion point in the NBA thread so I feel like it does deserve its own thread. Obviously this season no one is touching the level Curry is playing but are we ready to call him better than LeBron James?

Personally, I still think over the long haul I'm taking LeBron over Curry. I mean the man is one of the most dominant forces of all time and has been to the finals for 6 straight seasons :x However, at this point Curry is so deadly if people want to proclaim him the best in the world it's really hard to argue. Also, where does Westbrook, KD, AD factor in this discussion?

Disclaimer: I hate LeBron but you gotta respect his greatness.

Having this argument with my boys as we speak......Lebron > KD > Steph

And yes steph seems to be on some voodoo right now.....but he still has alot of miles to run to catch up to lbj....IMO

Of course the night I make this thread Curry drops 46,5,5 :x

I'm going to get flamed for this but I really don't think Curry is head and shoulders above Westbrook for the best PG in the league. I mean I'd give him the edge because he led his team to a ring last year but Westbrook's all around game is historically good. Son churns out triple doubles like its nothing and is one of the best athletes to ever play the game.

I'd give the edge to Steph because his shooting is just on another level but don't think its a slam dunk.

Im a Kobe Laker fan but i would take Lebron over Curry.

Lebron is great in all phases.

In their prime though

Kobe>Lebron/Jordan/Curry/Magic/Kareem/Bird/(insert your dads and bros favorite player)

If being fun to watch is any indicator, then yes. I always look forward to watching Curry, couldn't care less about watching LBJ.

lebron was overtaken years ago

dude is washed, unlike steph who is the one who washes

Only 10 games in....time will tell.

We have to consider the fact that Curry is young with less miles on him. Lebron will be judged by what happens in June. 4 MVPs under his belt....seeing a bit of decline in his game....30,7,7 days are gone. He doesn't need to put up those numbers with this team either.

Please keep Kobe out of this thread

Curry overtook Lebron offensive wise this year in terms of scoring and shooting. Lebron however is still more valuable to the team as he is more versatile. It's hard to say as both players are completely different type. It's like you want to compare kareem with mj etc. Position 2 vs 5 player.
