Are we forgetting that Steph wasn't healthy? I know everyone is banged up during this time. But we know "da knee" wasn't where it was 3 months ago.

Call it an excuse if you want. It is what it is

But it is part of the game.

He was healthy enough. If you can't see the way he sprinted, did the crossovers or hitting his 3s in the post season then it's sheer looking for excuses.
Curry was fully recovered after his comback against the Blazers in game 4.
It's not like he would be handicapped like kyrie in the 2015 playoffs or MJ in the 2002 season when he had his knee injury.
Curry simply was inconsistent with his long range shooting in the post season, and his stubborn chucking of 3s might have costed them the championship as the cavs were also better in rebounding.

I have no reason to make excuses for Steph man. We know dude wasn't healthy.

Showing short quick bursts of movements doesn't mean an athlete isn't still suffering from a 3 week old injury fellas.

That is correct. Tenure doesn't mean **** when talking about RIGHT NOW. What Lebbywinks did is 2012 doesn't apply in 2016.

It's like y'all aren't ready to let go yet. It happens. Father Time is undefeated and Lebbywinks just ain't it no mo. You can continue wearing your #6 jerseys to honor what once was.

Quick bursts? I suppose the 5 days that went between games 5, 6 and 7 in that comeback against the Thunder where he averaged 32.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 7.7 assists are quick bursts. Because he seemed to be very healthy in that "quick" 5 day stretch. And then he had some more days of rest before the finals started.

But yeah, he definitely deserves the benefit of the doubt for being injured in this year's finals after being sonned by Matthew Dellavedova in multiple games in last year's finals. Was he injured then too?

Not sure how you think injury recovery works but it is nowhere near as unrealistic as you are making it out to be.

We can just agree to disagree

The man himself proclaimed to be fully back in the Blazers series

He then proceeded to drop 40 his first game back...sounds like he wasn't that bothered with an injury

Lebron has been the best player in the league for the past 7-8 yrs and he still is...I don't see how this is a plausible debate anymore after what we just witnessed in the Finals..In order the best all around players in the goes 1. Lebron 2. Durant ...3-whatever you can place anyone you want.

Exactly...but once he loses and gets exposed suddenly..hes "Not healthy"

If Steph didnt wasn't so fortunate to play with Draymond and Klay who hide his weaknesses this wouldn't even be a conversation...because honestly you can make a very serious argument that Steph isn't the best all around player on his own team.

So it isn't possible for injury effects to come and go?

As a regular person, long time ailments don't bother you more some days/weeks than others?

Why can't the same be said about a pro athlete that gets his body pounded game after game? ( # )

Injuries don't work like that. You don't get hurt, then get HEALED and are cool forever.

Just to be clear, since the last page probably "suggests" otherwise, I never thought Steph was better than LeBron. So me "making excuses" for him isn't in support of him in this LeBron/Steph argument

the trash post on nt is alwats funny
We get it, you wanna come up with an excuse as to why your team lost. The Cavs had the Warriors figured out, period.

What excuse did I make? I said they choked. Up your reading skills up homie

But I was laughing at the fact that it always come back to Nike. They got y'all so brainwashed it's funny to me.
