No, but Curry's shooting has overtaken LeBron's power as the most destructive force in the league.

Im a Kobe Laker fan but i would take Lebron over Curry.

Lebron is great in all phases.

In their prime though

Kobe>Lebron/Jordan/Curry/Magic/Kareem/Bird/(insert your dads and bros favorite player)

kobe better than jordan in their primes? Never.
Mj shot mostly over 50% from the field and averaged 32 ppg during his 13 years of prime. How long was kobes prime? In my opinion his prime was from 2003 - 2010, so 7 years plus the 2013 season where he played reall ly well.
MJ was also better in playing defense as well.
And in high age, 38-40 year old MJ was among the best 20 nba players shooting 45% in his last season. Where is kobe at 37? Shooting 32% no drive for any dunks at all and forcing 3pters too much.
Those who claim MJ was not so great than kobe seem to ignore the years 1985-1993.
And i consider magic Johnson as the greatest Laker ever played. His basketball IQ and skill to get his teammates involved and still able to carry a team is unique.

My personal top 5:
1. MJ
2. Magic/Bird
3. Lebron
4. Kareem
5. Kobe

BOLD statement. You're a good dude, but I'm really shocked that you went there... :wow:

Please explain.

Love seeing what Curry is doing and more of a 'skill' guy becoming one of, if not the, best in the league :pimp:

not even top 3.

curry took brons spot a yr ago. now he's showing you why he's the most feared man in the nba.

How did he overtake brons spot when Lebron was the best play in be finals just 5 months ago

LeBron shot under 30% outside of 5 feet. If Delly and Mozgod didn't save his ***, ol boy was getting swept yet again. LeBron stays getting credit for putting up hollow stats. Most overrated player in NBA history.

I love Curry's game but dudes are acting as if KD isn't in this league i understand peoples mentality is what have u done for me lately, but before he got his hamstring strain, dude was putting up 28, 7 & 4 on 50% from the field, & 45% from 3. this is while he's still "Rusty" lmaoo.

I hope he gets back right and this injury doesn't linger because Best player in the L will be a hell of a debate this year.

That new kool aid always seems so tasty.

Because curry shoots the ball so well, people don't see his occasional carelessness with the ball and because klay Thompson lifts all the big weight guarding the opposing stars point guard, you don't notice his defensive woes.

The only reason lebron isn't 1a, 1b with mj is because of his passive mentality. Even this season, instead of letting the game come to him and being in a flow, he'd rather be extremely passive and get others involved. But he's still the best player in the game.

IMO

Curry is exciting to watch and is changing the way teams look at pick and roll. It's amazing. Best shooter in the history of the game...Yes, better than bird too.

LBJ empty stat king

Somebody please explain to me what an "empty stat" is? Because if you come into the game in the last 5 mins of a game down by 40 and you put up 15-5-5, that's an empty stat.

LeBron shot under 30% outside of 5 feet. If Delly and Mozgod didn't save his ***, ol boy was getting swept yet again. LeBron stays getting credit for putting up hollow stats. Most overrated player in NBA history.

Come on now, are you really giving credit to mosgov and dellavadova for having a 2-1 lead going back to Cleveland?

I fail to see how you could possibly give credit to them when lebron avg. 35-13-9 in the finals.

After game 3, literally less than 20 games ago, all the race was about lebron putting up gargantuan numbers leading the cavs to a 2-1 lead. But now those stats are hollow and it's all delly and mosgov? Ok.

Media priased Lebron for his higjly inefficient hero ball NBA finals last year like his bloated empty stats had any positive impact on the games at all. Empty stat king was born

No, but Curry's shooting has overtaken LeBron's power as the most destructive force in the league.

Accurate.

And it's still very early, this wasn't the case in June. And most people thought AD was the guy taking over this title just a month ago.

nah I am still taking Lebron

Curry wasn't dragging that Cavs squad to the finals last year

Curry is the best scorer in the league.... which seems to be what "best player" means these days

I think Lebron is a better overall player because he can do more ....most of which is due to god given size

also think Westbrook is right up there too.... that man an animal

If Steph can gain a more physical presence with mid range and post up game like Lebron, Kobe, durant has then the discussion can start.

But he is def sick and in the top 3 currently.
