 @ the rings argument.

 @ "valid statistics" like the number of 50 win teams he's beaten is invalid.

 @ the "healthy Kyrie Irving" argument.

Boy, the excuses this guy gets.

kttcolicape

i could really care less either way. LBJ vs. curry is really of no consequence to me

the kyrie argument is debatable. but to use a super ridiculous stat like the amout of 50 game winners a team has eliminated because you saw skip bayless talk about it on first take? thats whats

curry is by far the better defensive player than lebron, dude looked like harden in the finals

lebron might be the most overrated defender of all time, getting credit for guarding no names from the east his entire career while being lit up by role players like iggy and kawai in the finals

how is it even possible to have 14 minutes of terrible defense highlights in just 6 games?

straight overrated trash

steph's defense is underrated

if you say lebron is/or at times has been an overrated defender...ok. i'm with you on that. but to suggest that he is trash on defense and that curry is a better defender? thats silly talk.

you've used this argument before in other threads...Iggy and kawai lit lebron up? really?

iggy - 16.3 ppg in 2015 finals
kawai - 17.8 ppg in 2014 finals

so yeah, these role players really "lit lebron up" :smh:

curry is a year away from having as many championships as lebron, without having to form a superteam with his best friends, in a far better conference, before his 3rd sig shoe releases

yep, a year away from having more league mvps as kobe bryant as well. (they're currently tied)

oh and btw steve nash has more mvps than kobe as well

In the 14 games in the playoffs prior to Lebby's Incredible Defense, Iggy had 3 double digit performances (highlighted by a 16 point game against Memphis). 3 out of 14 games.

In the 6 games against Lebby's Incredible Defense, Iggy had 5 double digit performances (highlighted by a 25 point game and a 22 point game). 5 out of 6 games. Finals MVP.

Statistics doe.

This is kind of like when KD was lighting up the league and won MVP,he was playing on a higher level than anyone else but most didn't feel like he was the best player in the world. Steph has a better team though so they were actually able to capitalize on that and win a chip

i dont understand why kobe is brought up in this conversation?

good for him though, although regular season awards dont mean much when compared to championships

i like star players that dont fall apart in the playoffs, but you might have a different view on things seeing that your teams pg is the biggest overrated fraud in nba history

Lebron didnt even guard Andre Iguodala that much, dude was hitting wide open shots on Mozgov.

In regards Hibbert, Lebron was guarding Paul George and David West. You cant just say "hey Lebron go guard Hibbert and Bosh or Andersen to go guard Paul George or Lance Stephenson" ::lol:

Its called matchups.

And if Curry is such an awesome defender why wasn't he guarding Lebron during the 2015 NBA Finals, Lebron was the only good player they had at that point.

kawai shot under 50% while playing west teams on the way to the finals but was able to shoot 61% vs the king of putting up empty stats to make it seem like he's effecting the outcome of the game while ignoring all the little things that actually contribute to winning

why would you put a pg on a pf? thats just stupid

lebron wasnt guarding anyone in the finals, so i guess your first statement is true

Kobe was considered a great defender but I dont remember him always guarding the other teams best offensive player regardless of position.

thats the thing though, the lebron argument is so weak that people need to bring up kobe for no reason to distract from the fact that there is no defending this 2-4 fraud of a basketball player

he played more defense on melo the other night than lebron did in the entire 6 game finals series

Sucks Lebron couldnt get 3 free rings like Kobe did riding on Shaq's coattails.

Kobe getting a ring while scoring 15 ppg on 36 percent shooting :smokin

We've officially hit "deflect to Kobe" time. :pimp:

When that happens, you know they desperate.

Acting like Lebbywinks didn't win a ring until he joined a champion.

Steph still has a lot of MVPs to catch up to Bron

He already has the same amount as Kobe though :nerd:

And before "RINGZ!!"

I'm talking about individual accolades

A Kobe stan was the first one to bring up old man Kobe though
