With all the racial tension going on....

I can't contribute any necessary commentary to this. This video can stand on its own for what it is. Natural human interaction and instinct.

Someday we might make it, but I can't imagine the amount of pain, loss, and sadness from the tragedy it will take to bring us together again.

Always wondered how the world will be if things like slavery and the holocaust never happened, one race looking down on another never existed and everyone had mutual respect for one

Just not in human nature. If not race than something else divisive.

When we have no enemies we turn on ourselves.

Brothas get all the luv :pimp:

Cool vid but we all know racism is passed down , never ending cycle

Nah this stuff is in some peoples nature. As ppl grow up we begin to question things we are taught and on our own begin to decide what we feel is naturally right and wrong to us.

Exactly ...if it wasn't race it would be some bs like left vs right handed ppl  :smh:

Growing up in a small town I've come to realize that racism is truly taught. I had transferred from a predominately hispanic school to a predominately white one. I still remember my first day. 17 years ago. They treated me just like anybody else. I didn't feel like an outsider. As I got older though .. their dad's ideas started sticking with them. I remember one kid over a summer went from loving rap to hating it.
Dude started making all these racial jokes and calling me racial slurs :smh:
I could go on.

One thing i have learned is that it dont matter....

White, black, asian, indian, british, taiwanese, mexican, catholic, etc etc

Can all be racists

You mean everyone can be bigoted or prejudice. Racism is a systematic construct.

What would make those that benefit from the system want to get rid of the system and also to right the wrongs as much as possible?

Sadly, for me at least, that question is rhetorical. I don't think we will ever get an apology let alone reparations of any sort. Let alone a true breakdown and acknowledgement of the root cause, how deep the system has impacted all of us and dialogue on what to do. They feel like race is our problem when it's really theirs.

Racism will never die. There will always be ignorant people and weak minded people. I hope i raise my son right to never treat anyone diffrent based off skin color.

Not to mention smart people are having less kids than stupid people. Stupid people have more kids to pass this hatred onto. could actually get worse

What an inspiring video. Remember, we aren't born to be destined to go to hell. Our actions determine our fate. Love the lord, treat people with respect and kindness and you shall be accepted into eternal paradise.

Ok i have a legit question for any of you race cats.

Mite b a dumb question but...

Little Children in school play with other kids no matter what race or creed.
So they are taught racism.

where in history did this teaching / mindset start?

and i mean as far back as possible.

I dont think all kids are like that to be honest in terms of playing with other kids.

But once their parents say hey im having a party invite your friends butthey dad says no not kid X,Y,Z. They then say "we dont want their kind here" it begins.

Being taught racism is bigger than a parent telling their kid that they can't bring a friend over...
When you walk into a store and look at the kids section, all of the advertisements are usually of white or very light skinned kids with a certain hair texture.

When you look at images from tv, in print, in video games, etc. they are almost always of white or light skinned people.

When you look at toys, most of them are of white people.

So when a kid wants to be a hero, wants to draw people, wants a toy, they gravitate toward what they see.

You just contradicted your first statement with your second one.

No you just didnt understand my statement. As we grow older we begin to question what we are taught, the simple fact people never question the racist teachings lf their parents as they grow older only shows in their nature they think these things are correct.

I guess I just diagree with your use of nature vs. nurture. Any type of social learning (ie racism) is not a natural behavior. It is learned, be it via parents, media, or culture.
