With all the racial tension going on....

where in history did this teaching / mindset start?

*drum roll*

The Bible.

Telling people they could own slaves and ****. Also Moses marrying a black girl and all the Sesame Street characters in the bible started raging.

I guess I just diagree with your use of nature vs. nurture. Any type of social learning (ie racism) is not a natural behavior. It is learned, be it via parents, media, or culture.

Bu nature you will decide if you feel something is right and correct. You can be taught to be a specific reglion and the entire time feel its not correct.

By nature i am attracted to women, i was never taught to like women. Same way some who is gay by nature might not be attracted to women no matter how much their parents teach them they are supposed to get married to a woman and being gay is wrong or whatever.

I disagree with your first post in that nature is inherent in some people. Strongly disagree. It is learned from outside influences. People who "think it is right" are also influenced by certain groups. One of the most infamous racists of all time (Hitler) wasn't inherently racist. All the nonsense he spewed was learned from Russian writings, which came from somewhere else.

Being taught racism is bigger than a parent telling their kid that they can't bring a friend over...
When you walk into a store and look at the kids section, all of the advertisements are usually of white or very light skinned kids with a certain hair texture.

When you look at images from tv, in print, in video games, etc. they are almost always of white or light skinned people.

When you look at toys, most of them are of white people.

So when a kid wants to be a hero, wants to draw people, wants a toy, they gravitate toward what they see.

I was using that as an example of where it can start.

Everything you said is 100% correct but i don't think a child's brain can really understand why all of the superheros are white really early on.

Once again, your nature is what clicks inside your head and makes you feel this is correct. You have people who recognize their parents are racist but their nature makes them decide "hey these teachings are messed up".

I was expecting Jadakiss - We Gon Make It before the vid appeared.

I want the **** that the government got.

Not necessarily. Which is why I disagreed with your original statement. When you said "it's in their nature," you neglected the nurture part, which is ALWAYS activated when people form opinions and/or beliefs. By Nature, I'm assuming your mean someone in their barest form, right?
