there are a lot of options for men that carry bags, messenger bags are the most popular i think, especially if you go to work & school, i have a leather frye messenger bag that i carry everywhere, but nike even makes messenger bags & carryalls for men, i also have a nike nsw bag.

When I flew out to Philly last summer, all the business types carried around either a briefcase or messenger bag with them on the plane. None of them wore backpacks. Assuming thay OP works in the business world, maybe a laptop sleeve(with additional pockets) would work better for you if you don't want to carry around a backpack or man purse?

Personally I'm a backpack user and will be until I find a better solution. I had a messenger bag and ended up gifting it to my pops because I hated carrying it around.
