Threat level has been raised to maximum here in Belgium due to a terror threat in Brussels. There's snipers everywhere in the public places like the markets and people are advised to stay indoors. I know someone who works in Brussels and it's crazy out there. Military troops, snipers, ... everywhere.

A lot of times that's the requirement for them to participate in world markets.
 
I've worked in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia, Kyrgyzstan,Iraq, Afghanistan as a civilian contractor.

I've flown on both Iraqi and Saudi Airways during Ramadan and even did a flight to Saudi Arabia with a plane full of all Muslims on thier way to the Mecca Pilgrimage of Ramadan.

Not a single problem from any and was greeted treated with respect...never asked about my religion at all being an American on that flight by the Muslims I was surrounded by.

Never had a problem with Muslims discriminating, insulting or forcing thier religion on me in any of these place.

Meanwhile in the USA i have dealt with prejudice Christian/Catholic whites and hispanics numerous times.

Through stereotyping and just downright hate and arrogance.

I have had several Jehovah witness whites,blacks,hispanics constantly invade my personal space and property trying to force feed thier religion down my throat.

I've personally witness Christian church folks do and say the most evil stuff to others...even family members.

I just had a Muslim man on the train talk to me my whole ride and ask me to read excerpts from the Qur'an off his phone. Literally for about an hour. So that goes to show that personal experience isn't the most reliable source.

I will continue to view people off my own personal experience in life.

To generalize a whole group of people out of blind fear mongering and hatred just aint me.

There comes a point in life where you have to decide whether you are gonna be a man or a sheep....

Out of everyone I would expect at least black men to be humbled in this country when it comes to not jumping on the hate train propaganda...

Not jumping on any hate train, just wasn't completely sure what point you were trying to make. Came off as if you meant that there aren't people of every religion who can be overbearing.

no question there is injustice and cases where women are treated poorly. and ive seen cases of men and children the same. for every story of something happening to oppressed muslim women in the mid-east i can give you a few examples of something awful happening in the US. but you're painting it as if its because they are muslim they are mistreated. as if islam teaches men to treat women poorly.

go to another part of the world as an american, and see what random ppl will think of you and "your country"....and those wild ideas will sound just as crazy to you, as yours do to me
