Simultaneous terrorist attacks around Paris...Vol. Here we go again.Update 07/14/16 p42: Nice terror

sad thing is that man actually takes himself seriously,

Edit: he is correct on one thing though. Bin Ladin was no terrorist just a pawn and face of a tragedy to deflect the real killers and masterminds (cia/bush/our own) of what happened

Hate this world sometimes man just hate it, innocent people ttying to better there lives and better thereself and they die for absolutely nothing.

Rest in peace to those fallen

That's not accurate, extremism is part of the human psyche, not based on modern society.

I agree with this.

We can blame religion,

we can blame imperialism,

maybe we should blame human nature....

It's like what Agent Smith said in the Matrix....

Maybe it's in our nature to destroy ourselves.

Its absolutely in our nature to destroy ourselves, just like its in our nature to build each other up.
We just got to create an environment that encourages people to choose to build
and to be bold and courageous enough to stand up to those who want to destroy.

France is accusing my country of doing too little to prevent terrorism as some of the attackers were from Belgium.
We just raised our threat level from 2 to 3 due to IS threats.

Shock value unfortunately dictates media coverage. Covering a murder in a violent area won't capture as many viewers as a murder in a peaceful area.

Honestly I won't blame the media on this one because all of these were reported. Mogs just give a damn unless that pigmentation is similar

or if it's a place they recently visited or plan on vacationing in the future.

People care more or at least show that they care more because their self or family/friends could have been there when the attacks went down.

They're not planning no trips to those other countries listed and they're known for terrorist attacks so it's easier for folks to overlook it.

Sad but true

the french attack was probably meant as a message to westerners that we shouldn't feel safe (unlike an attack in Syria), much like how beheading a western journalist is going to generate more attention here than beheading a Syrian police officer. both are horrible of course. add to that the greater cultural, historical, and religious ties between France and the US, and it's no surprise why the french attack gets more attention here.

however, as I've said before, shock and sympathy is one thing, but if we're going to talk about how to fight Isis and how to understand their "logic," we need to understand all the atrocities they've been committing and not just selectively look at European attacks.

last thing -- this isn't the first time the world has had to deal with pure evil. we like to think those sorts of things are in the history books but sadly they are not.

Majority never been to Paris [emoji]128516[/emoji] Stop

Most just don't have the emotions to care about folks who don't favor them.

Not sure how you don't realize the personal ties people have to Paris. It's probably one of the largest tourist destinations in the entire world, a city that is loved by all travelers. Somehow, that's lost on you, and it's really no surprise

Yep. There ya have it. France is number 1 in the World with 84M people in 2014… but it's solely due to "pigmentation", as if white folks the only ones on this support France tip. Got it.

I worded that wrong.

People care more or at least show that they care more because they could see themselves or family/friends being there during the attacks.

I don't disagree with your comment. mr marcus mr marcus

It seems that Brussels has been linked to many successful and unsuccessful attacks that have happened in the region lately.

That article makes a good point. The fact that Belgium has 2 parts (north and south) with each speaking a different language has always caused problems.
I live in the northern part where Dutch is the native language. Learning French and English are mandatory in school, German as well depending on your education subject.
However in the southern part they speak French as the native language and in the majority of schools, Dutch is not a mandatory language.
We have politicians who don't speak a word of Dutch and I think that's what's hindering our response to threats.
There's so many layers to our government system and the north and south struggle to communicate properly together.

This might hopefully change some perceptions for the better, apparently the hero security guard that prevented one of the suicide bombers from entering the stadium and causing more damage was a muslim named Zouheir

how hard is it to become fluent in three different languages for you guys? like in school how much do you have to learn of another language before you can pass?

i still don't understand why we don't do that here in the u.s.
taking language classes here is a complete joke.

Well starting from 7th grade up to graduating high school you need to pick a "subject". Each subject has a bundle of classes but they can differ a lot depending on the subject. To put it in simple terms there's A levels (highly theoretical, hardest), B levels (mix of theory and practice, graduate highschool with business license) and C levels, which is highly practical.
I took A levels and picked the subject Human Sciences. I had 3 hours of English per week, 4 hours of Dutch, 4 hours of French and 1 hour of German.
That was the base level of languages in A levels, subjects like modern languages obviously came with a lot more hours of language classes.
I'd consider myself fluent in Dutch, French and English. I know enough basic German to communicate but far from fluently.

It's easier for those of us who live in the Dutch speaking part of Belgium because our language and dialect contains a very wide variety of sounds. We can speak other languages almost flawlessly without a clear accent. Those who grew up with French as their native language will always have a clear accent no matter what language they try to speak. I'm extremely fluent in English and when I visited London a lot of people actually assumed I was American. Been called a fat yankee plenty of times on xbox too.
I spoke fairly fluent English in the 5th grade just from playing videogames and tv. I mastered the language long before I even started getting English class in high school.
It comes as naturally to me now as my native language.

the world would look and behave like the middle east and africa if white people didnt exist.

Damn son, ain't you on Tinder heavy? Someone is gonna be in for a rude awakening at the Olive Garden dinner table.

"The fettuccine is cooked well, isn't it my dear?"
"Yes. I think it's due to the lack of pigment in the noodles."

yup, you have 200+ people lining up to donate blood but people just focus on the 8 guys who wanted to destroy and think the world is evil

with 120+ people that actually died and thousands that experienced this, its mad disrespectful to suggest that the government planted actors to make this already tragic event seem more tragic
