Simultaneous terrorist attacks around Paris...Vol. Here we go again.Update 07/14/16 p42: Nice terror

Does anyone even have an idea how to fix the issues that are going on?

I feel like at this point its irreversible

His woman is pulling figures out her *** to slander folk

First on the "intelligence agency" part

http://www.csmonitor.com/World/Secu...im-extremists-are-there-Just-the-facts-please

I know what she is doing, throwing in "fundamentalist" into the number, with the assumption that all Muslim fundamentalist support racial ideals or somehow are prone to violence

Which is out right fear mongering ********

Same nonsense Bill Maher does

-But as soon I saw "Heritage Foundation" in the back, I didn't have to press play to know what was coming

theres a pattern here and to ignore it because "its racist" literally sounds like something from a south park skit
then you don't get south park. actually the other end of the spectrum which is the attempted use of pseudo-intellectualist arguments in order to paint an entire religion with one bigoted brush while ignoring the entire socioeconomic/political climate that is clearly the main cause of all this, and not the religion itself sounds more on par with how Matt and Trey think. Not supporting bigoted garbage.

Who is ignoring anything? I think it's a fair assumption that muslim extremism is one of the biggest problems in today's world. Religious extremism in general is a plague but the muslim extremists definitely seem the worst the past few years.
Saying that muslim extremism is a plague is not racism, it's racism when you start generalizing all middle eastern people/muslims as a plague.

It's also sad that whenever some brainwashed dumb *** uses the name of Islam in vain, not only do I have to feel the tragedy and grief for victims, but my whole family and I have this, "there these mother ******* go again, ruining it all for the rest of us." And then instead of coming here to pay my respects and express my grief, my priority is to try to mitigate the bigotry. Obviously this is just first world problems, I can't fathom the level of this that innocent Syrian refugees feel.

I'm not stupid, and I know the things you anti-Islam dudes say behind close doors is much worse than what you're posting. And I know that you dudes are the same people out there that I encounter on a daily basis, that say that stuff behind closed doors then smile in my face. Or ignorantly think, "well he's normal, he's not like the rest of them." It sucks to live in a world where greedy people using puppets cause people to look at me, my family, and especially those who are more 'traditional' in their appearance funny.

But the verse that I care about, above all these violent verses you dudes love to post about Islam is:

The ink of a scholar is worth a thousand times more than the blood of a martyr.

Even if it's just fractionally I'll do my part in reversing the damage these dudes have done to your perception of Islam.

This happened in April. I don't remember it getting this type of coverage.
Kenya attack: 147 dead in Garissa University assault
At least 147 people, mostly students, have been killed in an assault by al-Shabab militants on a university in north-eastern Kenya.

Heavily armed attackers stormed Garissa University early on Thursday, killing two security guards then firing indiscriminately on students.

Four of the gunman were eventually surrounded in a dormitory, and died when their suicide vests detonated.

It is the deadliest attack yet by al-Shabab.

The militants singled out Christians and shot them, witnesses said.

More than 500 students managed to escape, 79 of whom were injured. A fifth gunman has reportedly been arrested.

Image caption The students have all been evacuated now the siege has ended, Kenyan officials said

Eric Wekesa, a student at Garissa, told Reuters he locked himself in his room before eventually fleeing.

"What I managed to hear from them is 'We came to kill or finally be killed.' That's what they said."

"It was horrible, there was shooting everywhere," another student, Augustine Alanga told the BBC's Newsday programme

He said it was "pathetic" that the university was only guarded by two police officers.

How attack unfolded:

1. Militants enter the university grounds, two guards are shot dead

2. Shooting begins within the campus

3. Students attacked in their classrooms while preparing for exams

4. Gunmen believed isolated in the female dormitories

5. Some students make an escape through the fence

Can you please explain? I guess I lack the superior intellect you possess to connect the dots :/

edit: i guess it's saying that money/power hungry people influence these terrorists into viewing an entire religion differently and violently attacking followers of it. which actually is agreeing with an implied point of my post...that it's not religion and the head of this, but $$ and power with people using these folks as pawns and tools.
Basically. Which is why I'm not a fan of religion in general. Ideologies are used to influence behavior, and often separate people.

We all know why it didn't get coverage. I always wonder why the borders are wide open for Syrian refugees and not other countries experiencing genocide and strife...

Exactly. Media bias. This is an issue in Europe, Africa, the US, etc etc. It would be in everybody's best interest for the media to perpetuate that.

How exactly do you go about fighting ISIS? There are SO many cells scattered around the word that it almost seems like a impossible battle to win (to me). I'm so disheartened over the events in France because I just don't know how you realistically go about erasing a vast terror cell like ISIS.

Exactly, so many cells all over the damn world.

This is unstoppable, you can't kill a belief and what they believe they are doing is right.

this is low key one of the realest moments of cinema

I hate when everyone on FB is changing their profile pic to that red/white/blue garbage when it does absolutely nothing. They think they are making a difference but they're really not. If they really wanted to help they would physically do something and not just add a few colors to their pic. I'm no expert but I think the government has something to do with this.

That's not really true. It is just harder for some refugees to get to European borders than others.

Here is a good video explaining the crisis. Syrian refugees aren't getting any special treatment

-And let us all remember, America played a hand in creating the monsters these people are currently running from.

I hope that Obama doesn't back down from taking in Syrian refugees he promised he would

If Isis didn't kill their own people I would totally understand the movement. But they do so it nulls everything

You can delegitimize extremism. It's the only way to beat ISIS. Look at what we did to the KKK here in the States. However, the first step in doing so is to recognize as a nation that we have been financially supporting the Saudi royalty, who are the protectors and promoters of wahabism. The reason why we have been doing it is to protect the fortunes that were built on the exploitation of oil and to protect our access to a strategic resource.

When things like this happen, it always puts me a bit on edge. Especially because I take the LIRR to commute to work and i'm at Penn Station everyday. Thank god for the military personnel and the police officers who are stationed at penn station keeping all of us commuters safe.

-As for the content fs the video, he is misusing the data to just inflate his "radical number" to prop us his BS position.

They favor Sharia Law.............radical

If I tried to make those kinda of leaps in logic when I'm presenting my reports in front of other the economist in my department, I would get slapped outta the room.

Such a garbage analysis

Don't know if anyone else heard it but apparently the suicide bombers at the stadium had tickets and were planning to detonate inside the stadium during the match. Thankfully there was a hero security guard that didn't let one of them in when he noticed the explosive belt. Could you imagine if they had gotten inside that packed stadium and blew up? The panic and hysteria afterwards would've surely been the cause of many more deaths. Somehow, this thing could've been even worse
