There's a video going around from a Taxi cam where the driver was on one of the streets in the middle of an attack and you can hear all the shots and the guys describing the attackers carrying AK's

Other reporters say in one instance they heard people saying that some of the attackers fled by car after

there's a lot of wishful thinking with the refugees. it's too bad that the evil few find ways to mix in and ruin it for the majority, but this idea that everything will be fine is naïve. it's not the first time something like this has happened.

then again these acts may have been perpetrated by non-refugees. regardless, accepting refugees is obviously not a deterrent. but I'd still argue we have a humanitarian imperative to do what we can.

100 dead at the concert venue. Explosives were reportedly thrown at hostages when the police intervened.
 
By all accounts, this is a terrible tragedy - and one that should not be compounded through hatred.  I want to be very clear about this:  we absolutely will NOT tolerate any hate speech on our forums.

Around the world, over 1.6 billion people practice Islam.  Of that 1.6 billion, less than 20% hail from the Middle East and more than two-thirds call Asian countries home.  It shouldn't even require stating that the OVERWHELMING majority of Muslim people around the world are, in fact, OPPOSED to hideous acts of violence.  

Violent acts committed in the name of a particular religion are deplorable, but they are not an excuse for racism and hateful stereotype.  

I understand that emotions can run raw, especially for those concerned for friends and family in the area.  However, anyone who chooses to comment here must do so in a respectful manner.  

If you come across any comments that violate NikeTalk's rules, including and especially our rules prohibiting hate speech, please use the flag/report button to bring it to the staff's attention.  
 
I don't know how anybody can be desensitized re: events that transpired throughout today. I don't get desensitized to any of it, that's called denial. Head in sand. Choosing ignorance.
 
Reading people posts about things being said on Twitter makes me glad I don't have a Twitter account.

This is a truly tragic event, and ant France (and maybe other European countries) may do in response could be even more tragic.

WHY is it so hard for people to just start believing facts and science? is it the "having hope" placebo is the only thing i can guess............either way , im a pretty dumb dude cause im not a millionaire and cant budget for crap but even i know to believe in only factual information and science ........i simply refuse to sacrifice my life for casper

i really believe a war is going to occur soon than we think.

Many in Europe are already tired of the refugee crisis, and they think their government is doing a horrible job. And now these attacks and many are pointed fingers at their direction for the cause.

Science doesnt disprove nor prove anything about there being some type of God figure though lol. But thats another subject.
