If i ask MJ to sign my 1s, do you think hed do it?

As what the others have mentioned, your chances are pretty slim to none. I love MJ as an athlete, however, I hate him as a person. There are numerous stories regarding his poor attitude, especially during his playing days in which he smoked a ton of rocks. I know there is a time and a place for everything (such as autographs), however, MJ rejects fans to another level. I remember taking a picture with Chris Bosh as he was boarding the bus and he was really friendly. I also met Kobe at a gas station and got an autograph and pictures. Kobe may seem arrogant when it come to the floor, but in person it's a whole different story.

I knew about Jordan smokin' h***** weed, but I didn't know he was smokin' crack!

Please TELL me MORE!!!

Info on Mike smokin rocks? I was aware of him smokin weed though. Saw one Ahmad Rashad interview back in the day from his '97-'98 season and he was spaced out talking about randomness and Ahmad was cracking up....

And :wow: @Air Steve

Jordan smoking crack?  He sure doesn't look like he does, weed I believe (need a link to that interview) but crack I believe not.

crack thing has to be false. at least during his playing days... it would be damn near impossible to play at that caliber while using hard drugs.

My bad, it was probably weed not the hard drugs. I think Chamilionnaire mentions something about it in the video, take it with a grain of salt though. Apparently, MJ wrote a convicted cocaine dealer from Chicago a check of $57,000, due to gambling. I know it doesn't mean much but i'm curious as to why he would hangout with a convicted drug dealer, considering his media attention.

I don't think I can take Chamilionnaire's claims in, that I make shoes for Caucasians and not Blacks thing is not plausible (in my opinion).  First, Jordan does not make the shoes Nike/Hatfield designed them (with Jordan's input).  So that whole line seems a little farfetched and considering his friendship with Spike Lee I find that just hard to believe.

^^ nah Mike wouldn't say anything like that. He grew up in the south in the 70's. You know he's loved through some ****.

I don't know what Mike was doing hangin out with drug dealers but as insensitive as it sounds I feel like the mysterious circumstances around Mike's father's death was due to a gambling debt.....

I know, that why when people say that I look at them weird.  Also that seems very possible about the death of his father.

Im nearly positive that his father's death was due to a gambling debt. and Jordan did get a 1 year suspension due to his gambling problem. Don't you find it coincidental that Jordan got signed to the Barons, the minor league team of another team that Reinsdorf owned (the White Sox)?

wow.

you are way off.

Jordan has never been suspended for anything.

He signed with the barons because the owner of bulls is the owner of the barons & white sox, this is common knowledge.

jordan wanted to play baseball in chicago.

His father was robbed and killed.  the killers got caught by showing off MJ's championship ring that his father was given.

how old are you?

I'm 31. Don't tell me you're gullible enough to believe everything you read in the media? Stern didn't want officially suspend Jordan for a year because it would hurt the league image since Jordan was the poster boy for the NBA. Keep in mind that Pete Rose got banned from MLB shortly before that. Mike wasn't nearly a good enough player to get a MLB contract on his own and since Reinsdorf owned both the Sox and Bulls, it made it the transition easy while keeping him on the payroll. Mike's gambling got really out of control in the early 90s.

I was born and raised in Chicago.

Again, its common knowledge that Jordan had/has a gambling problem.

I'm a grown man almost in his 40's, so gullible is not in the cards for me.

And patiently waiting for Scrub's rookie response.  Go ahead.
Rookie response?

i don't know who pissed in your Cheerios or if you just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, I have nothing to say to you.

I don't even know what the Eff you are talking about.

i think that MJ "retired" to play baseball because his gambling problems were so bad and also if they didnt force MJ to walk away from basketball for atleast 1 year they would have had a 7 peat on their hands and we all know that is a plain and simple fact, someone must have threatened him with his life or something to not get the allusive 4 in a row title but its all speculation and only the GOAT himself really knows

I too grew up in Illinois (calumet city) and remember everything from the Jordan Bulls era well. Michael Jordan WAS the NBA and they had to protect his namesake at all costs. They want you to believe that it was MJ just trying something new but people already know the deal. I believe his father also had a huge gambling problem as well.

+1

I'm not going to say I had direct knowledge of the situation but I agree with you on him and his dad.

Then again, when you make that kind of money......

True, they could have threatened him or his family.
