See that's the thing, no one ever compare their struggles to Jewish descrimination. People always want to compare their struggles to black struggle tho. Have your fight, but stop trying to compare it to what black people went through and still go through. And yes, I will be outraged if someone compare Jewish discrimination to black discrimination. Because in the US and many parts of the world, Jewish people are mainly the ones who discriminate towards black people.

I feel like people aren't getting the gist of what Colombia is saying. Gays or transsexuals have no control over their sexual orientation or gender conflicts. The discrimination they receive is comparable (i.e similar, not the exact same) to blacks; they can't change their race like gays or transsexuals can't change their sexual identities.

This is debatable. There is absolutely no irrefutable evidence leaning one way or the other.

I love how people hang ther hats on that "born this way" when it's 100% inconclusive and a subject of debate in the scientific community.

But in what instance has anyone ever chosen their sexuality? Like do people weigh out the pros and the cons of dating either sex before they choose? Has anyone here ever in their life decided "I'm going to be straight" or "I'm gonna bang dudes from here on out"?

Just like the transgendered elementary school aged kids, how does that even work? There is absolutely no clear evidence that support whether or not gay people have control over their sexual orientation.

And these are just the well-known openly gay ones.  People on this site are working under the assumption that gay black people were easily able to express themselves. The had to bear the brunt of discrimination from whites and from their own bigoted kin.

The reality is that there is absolutely NO concrete evidence either way.

That is an INDISPUTABLE fact.
