I'm not religious and can care less about it, but dudes are literally doing the same thing they are accusing others for doing. They blame religion for the sins of man, its like be blaming homosexuality for the acts of jared from subway or jeffery daumer.

That's what set off this entire debate and I did not say either of those things.

Perhaps I didn't word it properly but the point seemed to get across to at least 1 person.

Malcolm X was a muslim, I am I not, and I do not agree with many things in islam, does that take away from the amazing respecr I have for him?

Compare does not equal equalize.

I compared them in the sense that they are both struggles and both stem from a trait they were born with (race, sexuality). I never said that the LGBT struggle in the US is equal to or worse than the black man's struggle.

Like someone else said the point I'm trying to convey is that I would expect people who have suffered and continue to suffer from hate and discrimination to be more sympathetic towards a community that is also facing struggles (NOT to the same extent as black people, just to point that out a 1000th time)  based on the same principle, a trait they were born with.

You read the word black and instantly jump to conclusions.

Showing sympathy has nothing to do with agreeing with someone.

I do not agree with Islam, yet I can acknowledge them being killed in the middle east is not right.

I do not agree with homosexuality in the concept, yet consistenly have said they should have access to the same rights of others, what in the blue hell are you talking about?

I will explain this one last time, I put the important parts in bold and underlined them just for you.
I already explained in what way I compared them. I explicitly stated that the comparison is based on the struggles both stemming from a person's trait they were born with.
I also stated clearly that I am NOT saying that the struggles of the LGBT community are equal to or worse than the struggles of the black race in the US.
I did not bring up Caitlyn Jenner, I brought up the Caitlyn Jenner thread on NT as an example to demonstrate that there are many posters on NT my point could apply to because that thread was full of hate towards homosexuals and transgenders.
I have not once called you out for hating the LGBT community and have explicitly stated multiple times that my initial post was directed at a poster who said homosexuality was a sickness and in general to posters who hate the LGBT community but are victims of social injustice themselves.

Why does it matter to you that she won? If you're voicing your displeasure over the fact she used to be male and won the award, that would make you transphobic.

You don't have to agree with gays or transsexuals but don't play the victim when you get called out on it.

Same **** with racists. Technically you don't have to like POC, but they somehow get offended when called out on it.
