Christianity promotes homophobia though. It's a bible verse that people use to justify their homophobia. There is no legitimate basis for not agreeing with the "lifestyle" - I mean saying it's even a lifestyle is dishonest because it's not like people choose their sexuality ever. When has anyone here chosen to be straight? Ask gay people if they ever had this dilemma.

I can chose NOT to accept anything I want, but how am I not "letting them live."
I am simply pointing out the phrase, "Live and Let Live" literally means nothing to anyone on NT because we aren't stopping anyone from living. Whether or not we accept their lifestyle

Which is why I said I only compared the reason why they face this struggle, not the strughle itself. People just can't read properly, immediately jump to conclusions and think I'm comparing the struggle itself. That's not what I'm doing. Your analogy about the killing sprees is not relevant because that's not the comparison I'm making. The only thing that was being compared, and I'll follow your analogy here, is the reason why those shootings would take place, not the shooting itself.
I'll let it rest but I hope I've cleared things up a bit. I knew I would get a lot of backlash but I felt it was something that needed to be said because I see that hypocrisy happen a lot on NT. That's the last I'll speak of it.

Because being a bigot towards gays isn't simply saying "I hate gays and they do not deserve rights" just like being a racist towards POC isn't simply throwing around racial slurs. Being unaccepting of them is bigotry.
