For example, ovo 10s and sup 5s, limited releases, jb would make ALOT more money than the resellers.

longevity. If JB gave everybody what they wanted every time, they wouldn't stay relevant. The thirst would dry up. Sure, they would make more in the short term, but having strategic limited releases to keep the buzz going serves them better in the long run. It helps the sales of their other products as well. JB isn't in the business just to sell OVOs to hypebeasts
