It's Rodney King All Over Again SMH [WARNING: GRAPHIC VIDEO]

Shouldn't have ran. Shouldn't have beat his ***.

Jail for him, fire them.

How's this an argument :smh:

So the worst thing that should happen to these cops is that they lose their job?

and then get back on the job in a neighboring district or city.

They shouldnt face any criminal charges?

I mean I doubt they do but shouldnt they?

They should but I doubted that far more than just being fired so I didn't even mention it.

The chances that they get charged is already slim to none. The strictest anti-police brutality judge could do is make it so they'd lose their jobs and go on a type of probation where they can't go get a job in another county/state.

Only a give no ***** truly outraged judge would sentence them to do time for assault and a few other charges. In that scenario, the conviction and/or sentence gets repealed in appellate court. Keep in mind these cops probably don't have violent priors.

The same way cops are held to a higher standard is the same way it's harder to convict them of crimes while they're on the job. You'd need IA and a task force investigating to usually get cops to do hard time and even then it's not like they're gonna be sent in to gen. pop.

dude refused arrest, rammed two police cars, ran over a deputy, lead police on a 40 minute chase and has a warrant out for assault with a deadly weapon

my god, we should put this guy up in the Four Seasons
Police aren't around to enforce karma. Get the suspect and let the law punish him. They didn't need to apply any more force than a tackle and holding him down, maybe a taser, to get him arrested and in the back of the car.

Police are SUPPOSED to be held to a higher standard than a common person letting their emotions cloud their judgement, but I guess we're so used to cops beating up on everybody that we've now sunken to the depths of actually rationalizing and justifying this stuff because we've been programmed from childhood that the world is all good vs evil and the cops are the good guys. They're never wrong, not a bit. Must be other dude''s fault. He deserves what he gets because the cops are just so good because the police would never beat someone profusely without a good reason, right?

do you want me to pretend that I care what happened to this guy? because I really don't

like I already stated, if they did this over a traffic stop, stealing a pack of gum, blowing a stop sign then I would feel different

I'm keeping it for real, I'd also be fine with cops being prosecuted and charged

wow just saw the video...

Those cops need to spend YEARS behind bars.

A totally reckless and excessive BEATING

It's not about caring for this one individual in particular, it's about holding police accountable when THEY break the law.

Smh. Dudes will never understand that the fake sensational stuff hurts progress. You give the police /white race crusaders their "aha" moment. There was enough truth in this to go with, instead now the sensationalism is the topic of discussion.

hardly a police apologist, don't be a career criminal and you don't have anything to worry about it

if the clown stole a pack of gum and took that whooping my opinion would be much different
lol "don't be a criminal and you don't have to worry"

....until you're black and falsely reported for breaking into your own house in a white neighborhood due to profiling.

the brutality has to stop regardless of criminal status. that man was innocent until the court of law decides he is guilty, not two officers who chased him down. its black and white. cops do not hand out sentences. the more they overstep their boundaries, the more they will have to use the "i feared for my life" excuse because people are going to see themselves getting killed rather than apprehended and are going to be more reluctant to go passively.

the dude clearly stopped short of breath and they would have had no problems with normal force to bring him in.

and threads like this are what take away from that

nowhere in the context of what I said would ever justify that, you might want to report OP for constantly making threads that take away from the real issues of racism

what make you think i focus on it cuz i post about it on nt?

why does talking about race equate to "ruining your life?"

and how is talking about racism a "negative" thing?

ive made plenty of threads that have nothing to do with racism

OP why do you only post part of the article?

this is the dude they beat after leading them on a police chase in a stolen Benz, you get what you deserve
Even if he did all that, it's not the police's job to punish him for it. They are supposed to apprehend him and let the system handle it.

Plus innocent until proven guilty and all that.

This is OD and hopefully the cops involved are fired. They can't just hand out beatings like that because they want to.
