Why do people have such an issue with Cam Newton dancing?

Its just football, someone scored a td and danced, there was nothing disrespectful.

If you feel offended, that's a you problem.

it's the same thing as Johnny Manziel

people don't get over the things they did in college so they hold it against them, I'm guilty, I hate Johnny Manziel

EDIT: I see OP got his thread moved to S&T so his overall mission failed

Ain't nobody defending them, infaact they got **** for all of those

But no Cam has been seen crying multiple times
I swear NTers stay getting offended because some don't like him

They got **** for a day, Cam has been criticized his whole career. From scrutiny about his body language to him dancing.

Like shoot, he gets more vitriol than Big Ben.

Man the dance took so long. He looked ridiculous

are people still running with the racist theory?

I love Cam but if you don't think the celebrating every damn 1st down gets annoying then you are lying to yourself

same with Zesty Jr and that punk Edelman

The bigger issue with the lady and her letter is the fact she says her 9 year old daughter asked questions .. i dont know many 9 years that put questions together like that

AND ....

The lady says in order to distract her daughter from the dancing and commotion she directs her 9 year old daughter focus to the cheerleaders (who are 3/4 naked in basically a bra short skirt)

the celebrations are meh imo, its w/e he been doing it since he came in the league. If u have a problem with it get your team to stop him from scoring

People are really making an issue about Cam's TD celebration?

Yet, EVERYONE else in the league does it?

What gives?

Whole scenario reeked of fabrication and undertones.

Who gives a damn about dancing. Don't like it, stop him. All this crybaby isht is for the birds.

I gotta agree.  The whole league is full of players who celebrate over the most minute things.  Cam celebrating after getting "3rd and 2's", WR's flashing the first down sign after every single first down catch (No matter the yardage).  DBs doing the crossed arms gesture after every PBU (Or even in-completions that they didn't even cause).  Sack dances.  JJ Watt waving his finger after breaking up passes at the LOS

.  All of these are even worse when the team is losing.

TD celebrations I can rock with.

like yesterday, Telvin Smith is celebrating a stop when the Titans are in the hurry up at the end of the game and the Jags need to get back to the line ASAP

it gets real old to me, maybe it's always happened and I never paid attention or I'm just older and feel it's unnecessary now

you score a TD, go ahead and do whatever you but save it for that
