Yeah if you put too much. I normally pour onto hand and apply to sack, between sac and thigh and under sack.

U gotta pour a mound of baby powder on the counter top.
About the size of an ant pile.
Then rest the sack on it and dab it a little.
What you want is a nice uniform layer surrounding and protecting.

My SR yr of college baseball, one of our pitchers used it on his lower back before the game.
In that muggy mississippi evening himidity he got a good sweat going.
By the 2nd inning we were dying laughing. He told us sweat made it run down the crack
I know he was so uncomfortable.
