So I've only owned 2 pairs of 1's; the 2013 Black/Red, and last year's "remastered" Chicagos. The 2013's are stiff, but just assumed that that is how 1's are supposed to be. But, I unDSed my Chicagos, and damn are they comfortable! Way soft, and not stiff at all. I was gonna pass on the re-released Black/Reds this year, but today's experience has got me really considering picking them up. Especially if this is what "remastered" is supposed to feel like.
 
I hope they are like the cyber Mondays leather svc not the Chicago's. I think people let hype and their dislike of an all black shoe blind them from the fact that the cyber Monday's leather is softer throughout the entire shoe. I compared the two yesterday and was confused since i previously heard the leather from the sbb and chi pairs were much softer than the unc and cyber Monday pairs

I love the leather on the Chicago's absolutely love it.. Haven't seen CM in hand but UNC a scoshe softer than Chicago's

100% agree that some of these cats let hype alter their way of thinking.

Yes, exactly.  I have the SBBs and though the leather in areas is primo.  Its drastically less in the black areas of the shoe.  CMs and UNC's are soft all around.  I have a pair of 94 chi's and the leather is soft throughout and I have a pair of 94 black/reds coming in and Im certain.  It'll be the same deal.

I've got every 14 except this one and the candy canes.

Still have yet to wear a single pair, lol.

Just sayin if you were referring to me as being in some Chicago hype crowd I'm not, I have nothing against CM or deny they have good to great leather but the Chicago leather is money IMO, and that's about 25 wears or so
 
Breds will probably be nicer than the chicagos anyway so i wouldnt worry. There hasnt been a major colorway remastered 1 yet that is black based. Generally the white panels are harsher even if the have been better.
 
At the end of the day, would anyone be disappointed if it were either leather quality? I've never had a pair of 1's so I can't comment on any of these, but I'd rather have a thick, stiff, nice leather if it were my ideal situation. As long as it's not flimsy, I'll be happy.

LOL I'm with you.. not really interested in other jays that are releasing until this drops.  I hope to cop 2 pairs but a 3rd would be too gravy for me.  
 
2 pairs minimum for these haha one pair will be red laced like hanamichi(getting the jersey soon) and the other will be black laced ofc. The leather of these is gonna be soft no matter what. Most likely CM UNC quality. Theyve been doing 1s good with the remaster. If the shoes shape was like the 85s thatd be 2dopeboyz in a Cadillac but beggars can't be choosers. I wish yeezys, 11s, collabs, etc were dropping the day the breds release. Might make it drastically easier to cop but these are gonna fly.

^ where'd you get the jersey from? Only thing I ever see on ebay and aliexpress is either a bunch of crap looking ones, or bundles that come with shorts
