Who the hell would do that trade.

Think outside the box my dude.

I just recently sold a pair of my ds 13s for 540.

There are presales up for 350 .... you do the math

Where did you sell them? Didn't think they were selling over $500 anymore

And that's just it, a pre sale which doesn't mean ****. A lot of these pre order sites once the resale value is up will just refund you and sel at a higher price.

Majority of the sites do it, it doesn't affect them. And I'm still not down to pay $350 that's overkill

Was gonna pass but toebox pics got me in. Hopefully I get them. If I don't I got my 13s to fall back on

This is the only shoe that matters to me this year. There definitely was a reason I didn't even try with the '13s.

In a 1984 preseason game against the New York Knicks wearing the Black/Red Nike Air Ship. The game was played on October 18, 1984 at Madison Square Garden. It was the 6th preseason game the Bulls had played, and they were going into the game with a 4-1 record. A few days earlier on October 15, 1984, the two teams played each other at Glens Falls, NY some 200 miles north of Madison Square Garden. The NBA notified Nike and/or the Bulls that the black and red sneaker from the October 18 game broke the "uniformity of uniform rule." He would immediately have to stop wearing the colorway on court.

@AirThompson  You're 100% right. Also found this. "On October 18 the NBA threw them out of the game". These and the Black Concord 11s are all I need for the year.

Sold locally. if you aren't willing to take risks then you can't complain if you come up empty handed. I look at this as trading my 13s for a pair of 16s plus 200 dollars. Win win.

I preorder off people I've done business with before.

Zadeh legit for the presales?  Hawaii is mad sketch when it comes to releases.

You can use their discount code on pre orders but not sure how legit they are

But also good chance any pre order site would prob "skip" your order if you used a discount code

Not sure if they are legit but have heard of them.

Air Jordan 1s always release in the same consistent numbers right as far as the OG models are concerned? I know we don't know exact numbers, but from what people have heard from what a store gets? Always more limited than other GRs. These might not be a bad one to pre-order? The 2013 release was brutal. I think it will be as bad if not worse.

Supposedly 4x as many pairs as the 2013 release which was estimated to be about 20-25k pairs

Were 2015 Chicago 1s 4x as many pairs as 2013 breds? You got a source for the estimate on the 2013 BREDs?

No they weren't, basically same.

Up until now OG 1 have been pretty limited

It was mentioned on Twitter by some guy who does numbers and stuff that when Breds released and the numbers it was that estimation which seems right

I'm inly saying 4x that amount is because it's RUMORED by someone who's rather trustworthy saying they will make 100k pairs of men's

what I'm saying isn't fact so don't take it as such, just going by what past releases were and estimated as.

Is the guy on twitter you are talking about Matthew Kish? According to him they released 500000 pairs of AJ11 Columbia and the resale wasn't as bad as BRED 1, but it wasn't great either. That is for an 11s colorway that is easily less wanted than Concords, BREDs and SJs. If they really only released 25k of the BRED 1s then I would think their resale should have been even higher.

That's now how resell works at all. Prices did jump to about $600-659 for a pair of $140 shoes. So far prices have dipped since the confirmation of the 2016 bred.

In the long run will the price of 2013 rise? Possibly as more pairs get worn and less and less DS pairs on the market. 2001 prices rose when the 2013 dropped as did the garbage DMP 2009 pair.

Hype is huge on the Breds so I expect $350 resell right out the gate and only rise but who knows, this is all just random speculation

Resell is determined by SUPPLY and DEMAND? Thats what i am illustrating above. The reason why 2001 and 2009 prices rose was because of the hype around 2013 and overwhelming DEMAND. Some guy named Ye was wearing them. Did the value of Carmine 6s from the pack go up after the 2014 pair dropped? It held for a bit, but now its rough. What about Bordeaux 7s? No the DEMAND wasn't as high and SUPPLY wasn't significantly limited. People took to the new release over the older model. When Nike does releases right the previous sh*tty release price usually collapse from their previous resale. You said it yourself the value of 2013 BREDs dropped when we knew a remastered BRED was on the horizon. Some of the older models value rises because of the perception of better materials like the 2001 pairs of BREDs. Nobody just pays for an older just because its older. There is some kind of nostalgia or better quality material or molds involved...people love those.  Older models are  prone to go up or down with new releases its not always a stairway to heaven. The Hype around 2016 BREDs might be higher than it was 2013 because of remastered material and if they release them 4x quantity as older releases then 2013 prices will collapse further. Give me one reason why I should pay more for 2013 when the 2016s are sitting at $350 like you think they might.

I don't believe these numbers of 25k or 100k unless they come from an insider or industry analyst.
