Facts I been saying for years. The only thing I think the 01's have going for them is the shade of red. I personally would try to obtain any year blk/red Nike Air pair besides these if I was in the market of getting them (minus 85's). Some say 13's hurt their feet but imo 13's are way more comfortable than 01's and to me overall look better so....yeah. Currently have 13's and will be keeping them when I cop the 16's.I have 01s as well and they're so damn uncomfortable

The 01s had the thinnest sole ive ever felt on any of my shoes. I felt like if i stepped on a piece of glass it would cut my foot through the bottom of the shoe

True, the swoosh is like a nubuck/durabuck material but suede is just the blanket term used for materials like that. Leathers with a fuzzy or grainy touch to them.

You are wrong my man. Suede is a type of leather made from cowhide to have a nappier finish. Like suede, nubuck too is made from cowhide but has a lower nap and smoother touch to it. Durabuck however was a synthetic material created by Nike in the 90's that was a more durable alternative to nubuck

Let me explain it differently.
Suede and Nubuck both come from cowhide leather but are finished differently.
Durabuck is synthetic and manmade.

Anyhow. The 2001 joints have thee worst AJ1 midsole ever. I broke those out as my causal breds over my '13 pair. Bruh, joints are as bad as Converse.

Lol i dont know. With so many options, why does anyone care for 01s anyway. They are way overpriced for what they are. The constant theme is the colors pop. Ive seen ogs sell for not alot more and i would pick those 100 times over.

I don't have a pair of breds, period. So I'll be happy to pick these up at retail. I've only recently gotten to the point in life where I can buy what I like, so catching up on all the J's I couldn't afford growing up is an awesome feeling.

94s came in. This is my first time completing a yearly set. Sure it was only 2 pairs but these are so important to me. Chis was my first accidental proxy bid. I watched the chis for days as no one was bidding. Than in the last 40 minutes they went from 50.00 to 200 something and was growing exponentially. I didn't have data in my phone so I went to mcdonalds right after work (luckily, I got out early enough). Opened up the bid with 1 minute left I got real nervous and accidentally bid 2430 bucks from typing in numbers with record speed for me. It was the last second and Im thinking that I lost. I get sent to a winning payment page and I saw what I bid and then i thought to myself. "Theres no way I'll be able to pay that" But it turns out ebay bids have an algorithm that stops that from happening. I ended up paying 267 for them. Shipped from Spain.
For the breds, I talked with a seller and struck up a deal. Then life, bills, and a dodgey roommate hit me right in my pockets. Had to tell the seller ill pay for em but i wont be able to pay until a month from now. He was cool said he'd wait I assured him every 4 days that Im still alive and I'll be paying for them June 7th. They arrived today from norway. My birthday is the 17th and I couldn't be any happier to be 27. Im glad to share these moments in this thread. Might not be a big deal to anyone but me. Thats fine and dandy but these 2 pairs of shoes are some of my most prized possessions. Im glad i could tell the story.
