The Official Air Jordan 1 Retro Blk/Red "BANNED" Sept 3 2016

Its a gamble bro. Thats how this works.

If you wait til they are officially announced and they look dope af and official like all of the rest of the remasters have been then you just lost a few hundred because you waited and the demand for your pair has diminished. If you sell and the remaster pales in comparison to the Banneds then you just played yourself. On top of that, the banners being only released in super limited numbers to the outlets AND having that misprint AND the one off banned labeling on top of the quality makes them a special case. You might want to hold onto those for what they are. The old mold sucks though.

As far as 2013s vs 2016 its a pretty safe bet if the chicagos are anything to go by. The only thing keeping the 2013s alive is that Nike hasn't officially announced them yet.

You have T-minus like 8 hours. lol

The limited edition, and special "X" branding is still unique and one of a kind.

2013 black/red 1's been dead.
there wasn´t anything wrong with them in 2013 and there isn´t now.

Not saying I´m not trying to get the new ones, but I will not suddenly nitpick the hight of my 2013 pair when I thought they were fine a couple years ago.

compared to remastered 2013 breds leather is way stiffer. Quality is getting better

Everyone is unloading their 2013 shoes now.  With Breds dropping soon, it's only a matter of time before Royals and Shadows get re-introduced too.

Remastered quality is what the people want and hopefully what the people will get.

How much they unloading the 2013's for

Prices for 2013's breds have been dropping big time.. nobody is going to shell out big bucks for those anymore knowing 2016 remastered version is dropping with much better quality materials and construction (hopefully).  I mean just look at that tumbled leather.. sheer work of beauty!

The 2013 Breds are the ones with the X on the back or am I confused

sure. But still, when 2013s came out nobody said "Pass, I hate the quality of these!" We didn´t know about "remastered" so they were fine. Just cause Nike threw some marketing term at us there is absolutely no need to feel like only the remastered Breds matter. I like my pair. They are comfortable and don´t feel too stiff for me so I won´t belittle them just because there is a newer release.

If the images hold up to be true, the tumbled leather makes them 2 different shoes for me anyway.

Not even going to front. If I'm able to double up on the 2016's I'm offing my pair of DS 2013's for below resell market value. But if and only if I'm able to double up on the 2016's. Not going to sell them now and risk being out here Bred-less.

So lol. Does everyone think the 2011 banned with the X is going to remain as valuable and unique as they are now? Regardless of 2016 release lol. I'm curious-this stuff interests me.

A much better pic than the last one you posted

No missing parts on the wings logo

Are you new lol? This happens every time Jordan re releases a retro. Go read the Space Jam thread for a perfect example

I've been wondering this even if they made an abundance of these the resale price would still be high given the price point.
