My initial point was that Jordans aren't in style compared to what they used to be 2-3 years ago so the higher number produced should allow pairs to sit or go on discount now (which has happened) as there is literally nothing special, in terms of hype, about wearing the latest GR Jordan. To bring this back on topic this should HOPEFULLY make the Bred 1s much easier to cop than in 2013 but other factors (lower $160 retail) might still make it harder to cop.

NOTE: I like that this is happening to retros.

I can't tell if people are joking but even if they have created more of these than the past OG1 release, they will sell out first day... These are the black/red 1s, come on lol.. Don't sleep

first two statements are flat out lies. also your WC4 comparison is weak because anybody can return an NDC purchase to an outlet meaning that pair could've been a return and not a leftover sent to an outlet.
 
Unless more FNL are getting these in stores, still don't think they are mass produced as most of you are saying

That's what I'm saying-I wish they released this cw for $220 retail so it would deter a lot of buyers like the WC4s did. With that price, we'd all easily eat.
 
These will only sit until about 4 pm. Big sizes will sell but the time stores close Saturday
 
There are even stores that didn't get Chicago 1s getting these, and the ones that are getting both - are getting a lot.

3/4 (mid) 11s have a very controlled release though plus it is no coincidence that they release in conjunction during the holidays.


If they released only 1 cw of a model every year and put time into making the box, etc. special they would move a lot more pairs of THAT one cw (but overall they sell more pairs by releasing multiple cws every year).

I guess we disagree then because more people are wearing Jordan's now than ever.

Doesn't matter they still flood the market with them initially and then restock them and they still sellout

More people drive Corollas than ever-does that mean that they are in style or that they are a good, reliable and attainable car?

Yeezys are not easily attainable, limited release retros (OVOs, Wing 12s, JDs, etc.) are not attainable, GR Jordan retros are almost all easily attainable. Which of these shoes gets the least Instagram likes and Youtube views? Probably the GR Js.

I'm going waaaay OT here but I simply hope the demand for these 1s is less than the 2013 1s due in part to hypebeasts and resellers not caring nearly as much about GR Js as they did 2-3 years ago.

IM JUST HOPING THERE IS ENOUGH TO GO AROUND FOR ME TO SCORE AT LEAST 1 PAIR.. THESE LOOK GREAT. MIGHT STILL KEEP MY 13' PAIR BC OF THE DIFFERENCE IN SMOOTH VS TUMBLED LEATHER

Hmm if Jordan Brand "floods the market" with 11s, why is resale still pretty significant?

Look at the number of TOTAL Retro 8s in ALL cws produced in 2015-it is WAYY more than the 72-10s released that year. The sane thing could be said about most GR retro models that release.

Significant? 72-10 barely selling over retail and those are prob the nicest ones that have dropped since the Concords

UM again ok, what does the amount of 8's released in diff cws have to do with the mass produced GR annual 11?  And with the resale being significant wouldn't that mean they are in fact in style?  And DARE I SAY HYPED?  Again you are not making a lot of sense to me
