Seattle Bruhs if anyone is in this piece.  Let's link up. I know nothing of the PNW sneaker scene I get all of my kicks online but I'd love to get em in store

The trend in 2016 moving forward: Every "remastered" release especially OG colorway fan favorites plus holiday 11s will be in abundance (e.g., WC 4s, 72-10s, Flu 12s, Metallic 5s). Expect similar production numbers with Bred & Black Toe 1s, TB 3s, Space Jams, Royal 1s, etc

Collabs and non-OG colorways will either be somewhat limited or low production numbers, for the most part.

This is part of what JB is doing to counteract the grey market and the resellers in order to take a stranglehold on their rightful share of the profits
I sure hope you're right.

As a consumer, I'm elated that we have more options with Jordans and that supply is meeting demand on the most coveted pairs. But it will come at a price.

By significantly raising production numbers and increasing MSRP (which Nike has gradually done, from $160 to $180 to $190, and now $220 on Nike Air branded remasters), not only would Nike shareholders be happy, but ultimately profit margins are increased tenfold and rising competition such as Adidas (Yeezy, James Harden) and Under Armour (Curry) continue to take a backseat to Jordan's empire.

Which is why people should not be alarmed by Aqua 8s "sitting" on the shelves of Nike outlets. Remember, production costs for Nike on their shoes have either gone down, stayed the same, or barely even increased because they pay very close attention to where they source their raw production materials. Meanwhile, the Aquas MSRP increased to $190 from previous retros in 2011, for example, which were priced at $160. Therefore, if Aquas were discounted to $150 at the outlets, Nike never really suffered a loss because the "true MSRP" of today's shoes are really around the $150 range based on the brand business model as well as production costs. It's genius.

I'm waiting for these things to evaporate and all you super mega huge gr of all gr people can crawl back into your cave until the biggest gr of all time releases with the space jams

Southcenter and Tacoma will be getting the most pairs out of everybody.

Black/Red 4s, Bred 4s, Playoff 4s, Black Cement 4s, Black/Cement Grey 4s....it's all the same to me because y'all know which shoe we talkin' bout. Period.

I don't understand why all the bickering about GR or limited. Either way it's not like you can do anything more or less to secure your pair other than doing raffles and being online at 9:50am ready to go. We should all hope for a GR. I don't think anyone other than resellers wants this release to be limited.

And People Who Became Snkrheads During 2012-13 when people started going crazy over og releases. These fools the bred 1 is some sacred rare jewel that doesn't drop end every few years

Certainly I'm not the only one who has mapped out their trip around the city for raffles next Monday lol

Resell high, low. It doesn't matter. There will always be people complaining. In all honesty, we won't really know what the market will be until it releases. But I guess talking about resell keeps this board moving.

The significant increase of production numbers in 2016 which we will continue to see moving forward is for the fans. JB got the message.

Many years from now when MJ is long gone, the Air Jordan flagship models will be just like Converse Chucks and Adidas Superstars - available everywhere for past and future generations. It will be a neverending money making machine. You buy a pair of Bred 1s or black cement 3s, wear them out til the soles fall off, then take a trip to the store to cop another.

The only ppl hoping they're limited are resellers who often lurk these pages, and in some cases post. Let's hope this is a release for the fans, lots of pairs for anyone who wants.
This thread quickly became extremely annoying.  Everyone is "knowledgeable" in this thread.  Even those who joined in the last six months are so confident that these are a GR because their favorite twitter handle posted something to that effect.  Honestly, I couldn't care less if they are limited or a GR and I couldn't care less what someone spends on a pair.  I reserved two pairs for above retail and have no regrets about it and I'll likely try for another at retail as well.  Not having to worry about it come Saturday is worth it to me.

Thank you.  I was thinking of calling up niketown in seattle and a ton of other sneaker shops in Seattle.  I'll plan a bus trip to tacoma to see if I can get in on some of these raffles.  I want to get a pair so badly theres a dude in my fb group that's doing a preorder for 350 but I ain't trying to pull that trigger yet.  Plus he's being a butthole about and I'm not sure I wanna give my cash to someone like that.

Tumbled check is blah, but everything else is good

I know all they had to do was use the leather from the heel panel on the swoosh. But Nike gonna be Nike

GS confirmed long ago.. stiff leather like 2013s from what I heard.  Not the tumbled leather as nice as the Mens.

Wrong. GS size leather far far cheaper looking comapred to '13. I remember before the remastered the leather on the '13 was considered far softer than anything else.

I'm waiting for these things to evaporate and all you super mega huge gr of all gr people can crawl back into your cave until the biggest gr of all time releases with the space jams

How is the resale business these days?

there's a bunch of people in this thread talking like they know ****..
fact of the matter is this, resell will not be under $300.

Ya but it wont be like '13s either. Nobody knows anything about numbers. But GS sizing and location maps give strong hints about this release. Best we can do is hope. I am sure you and I would want the resale like around $250. Right?
