I see what some of yall meant..this upcoming one seems more like a tribute to the outlet banned...it's def not a remaster of the og...the leather is real smooth on the ogs and seems like the color is brighter also? Either way I'm still hyped not tryin 2 start drama just stating the captain obvious

Yep. That's why if for some reason I do happen to strike out on this release I'm not loosing any sleep about it. I know the true OG version will eventually release in years to come.

Even though it's not like the OG's, I'm fine with it. They look really good. :smokin

When they make them like the 2015 Chicago 1's in years to come I will cop those too. :D

Na. If that's the case they would've made the black side panel tumbled, the toe less tumbled and left the swoosh flat. And they dropped like how many OG 1s without tumbled since SBBs? Many.

And if your statement is true, then what's next? Tumbled Royals? :smh:.

These do look alright. Can't deny that mold. That said, I think this was actually a failed attempt to model these off the 2011 banned and I think they kinda did a bad job at that. Yes someone dropped the ball. Someone at JB was just as confused as some new NTs who don't understand what diffientuates the "banned" 2011 outlet 1s from the OG Breds 1s. Somebody at JB THOUGHT that's what we wanted and made a brash decision to actually retro the "banneds" from 2011. Real heads just wanted them to follow suit and give us the OG version like they did with Chis, UNCs, Metallics etc. This is my theory on it all and my 0.02.

I don't think it was a falied attempt at all. I feel they clearly was trying to satisfy everyone with this release. People who just want a bred 1 (check), Nike Air (check), high cut, comfortable remastered mold (check), banned 1 aspects (check) even more OG aspects with the size stamp on the sock liner, registered trademark on the tounge tag and with the white tounge and lacestay liner (check) which makes them that much more sexier. :smokin Also from what it seems, more availability than the last two releases. Tumbled or not, all the panels of leather look to be a thicker cut too which to me is good thing. Just my $0.02.

Copped the 2013 Chis for retail on Titan, btw. Was too easy back in the day :\

I think they just had to switch something up, simple as that.

Whenever they retro the same shoe just a short time after a different retro they do something to distinguish the shoe more.

The Infrared Air Max 90s in 2015 lacked infrared on the inside of the tongue.

The Hot Lava ATC2 from last year had a few color changes from the 2014 version.
 
jimmies will be stomped on more like it....... I remember doing FCFS and cats running from the mall entry to the store balls out. trampled people along the way and basically climbing the gates of each store opening.
