Air Jordan 7 Retro "Olympic Alternate" - The Aftermath - NO BUYING/SELLING/TRADING

They're only good if you can get a discount on them since these clearly weren't ever destined to be a day 1 sellout shoe.

what's the price point you would pick these up at?

If they go to discount

$190 is retail

I normally order things when they have those 20% off $100 or more discounts with the Foot Locker Inc. websites honestly on merchandise that's still available and not excluded from discounts.

I was at the mall yesterday and noticed these were sitting. I typically test quality of leathers by scratching on them. I came to find out that the Alternates scratched up pretty easily. Such a disappointment.

more and more glad I passed on these

I wouldn't pay any more than $120 total. HBU AirRaab

The shoes were on shelves. Last time I checked, as a customer, you're allowed to touch, smell, feel, try on, press, scratch, etc. before I hand over my hard earned money. Why would you blindly buy a shoe without testing out the product? It's a fingernail. It's not like I took a hacksaw to it. I didn't dig into the leather rather a scratch as if you were scratching an itch on your skin. I went to 2 stores and tested this. This was the result. If anything, the shoes should be recalled.

Scratching and Damaging a Shoes is not one of those options!

Sorry bro, Your nail is just like a Hacksaw

you could've check the quality of the leather w/o doing all that!

If you paid for it and took it home to do that  (you have all the right to return it)  You own it!

that's pretty wack IMO

you basicly damaged it, and left it for someone else to buy!

So is trying on a shoe, stinking and scuffing it up in store and deciding against a purchase to leave it for the next person. Dude be real. People do this all the time. It's not just the mall, it's your local outlet as well. People try on shoes all day, throw them around, dirty them up and God knows whatever else.

That's like keying a car at a dealership, and leaving the lot telling the salesman the car isn't durable/safe enough for you lol

Lol at comparing a key to a fingernail. No added pressure was added. I think you're missing the point. The upper is sensitive material. Use the information as you please.

You didn't gently rub your nail on those dude

Quit Playing!

You dug your nail in those.    I've held them in hand, the leather is no diff then most GR's

Yeah you can try on shoes in the store, Even walk around

But you go kicking, jumping and putting scuffs on them while you try them on in the store, that's a whole diff monster

No one does that!

except lil kids with no manners

You're being irrational. I've been collecting 21 years and this is by far the worst Jordan flaw I've ever seen. Like I said it's rather easy to scuff the upper. Whether I'm informing the community here or not, that's up to you to digest but the Alternates damage easily and I think that's an important piece of information people should have before they make a choice to spend $190.

I would rather have the soft leather than hard leather.
