im over the commercial holidays.... i dont celebrate holidays or anything like that. i treat it like any other day. dont hang out with fam no more , i always felt corny when my i used to do that, im not a people person. i dont feel the need to be around people all the time or over the holidays. i enjoy being different and im cool with being alone now. i love it actually, to each his own.....

Same here, never did these commercial holidays in my life. My parents are traditional chinese so they don't celebrate none of this anyways. My daughter's mother white family celebrates so she'll probably take my daughter to stop by over there for a bit tomorrow and tell them I'm working while I'll really be blazing up and catching a bit of football chilling. then when she gets back in the afternoon we'll go to the theaters and catch a movie.

I be taking myself out, I get all dressed up, go to the nicest restaurants and just sit at the bar. Lol but I have no such luck with men. [emoji]128529[/emoji] It's cool though. It's always been my luck. That's why I just work hard and keep a smile on and keep my faith. Someone good will come along.

It is deff what I'm doing with myself - exploring. I always joke around and tell my friends I'm married to the mountains. They are the main reason I moved here. The fact that there are mountains and beautiful beaches in one state. I was sold. Had my dad drive with me all the way out here, kinda like a dad would walk his daughter down the aisle.

In the bay area dating= expensive, trendy restaurants and bars are really expensive and a lot of dudes I know don't think it's worth it to do all that. It's much better to just netflix and chill

Have you experienced this first hand? There's no shame in using tinder and a lot of people don't have that mentality. Youll find out pretty quickly if you like the person or not just a simple first date. And you're a girl so you're going to get treated (if you want).
Stop feeling sorry for yourself because you're lonely on the holiday. Stop acting like the majority of people use tinder and then say that you can't date that same "majority" because they just want to hook up (not true) or you better than them or something.
I don't feel sorry for you at all. People with real problems out there and you're complaining to an all male message board about being a lonely girl. Just go back to PYP and take your pic from the thirsty dudes.

lol to me, saying that because restaurants are expensive dating isnt worth it suggests to me that you're super cheap and you dont deserve the netflix and chill. Amazing food is worth whatever it costs, so is a respectable and beautiful date.
