It's that time of the year again! Happy Thanksgiving to all. Let's begin.

It was tough to whittle down the the final list for 2015, but after much analysis we are here. For the sake of time we will keep the descriptions short and sweet. The nominees:

The NFL’s Deflategate Hysteria - For all the constant hype involved with the NFL this one took the cake. It made "turkeys" of so many people we can't name them all here.

Roger Goodell - Continues to have rough years in the public eye and 2015 was a season to forget for Roger. NFL continues to soar however and he still earns $40+ mil.

FIFA - Scandals, corruption, banishments, denials. Repeat. Sounds about right.

Adrian Peterson - A good comeback season has not fully washed away what transpired with him the last year. Scores points for riding into his birthday party on a camel.

Greg Hardy - Has become the laughingstock of the sports world and does not seem to care. Bonus points for wanting us to think he's the victim.

Jason Pierre-Paul - 4th of July did not really agree with him.

Hulk Hogan - Previously busted for a sex tape, then busted for racist comments. WWE's biggest star ever was scrubbed clean from all records.

Johnny Manziel - Decision making is not a strong suit. Will be back in Texas on the Dallas Cowboys roster by this time next year.

ESPN - The only 13 time nominee. Continues to employ people that make the company a laughingstock, and continues to embrace debate.

Or any other nominations!

Vote now!!

I'd love to see my past votes, I'm guessing Roger has gotten the majority

These are difficult choices because of the level of turkeyesque behavior is so different in each case.

For example, Jason Pierre-Paul may have ruined his career by blowing up a firework in his hand. Huge turkey for that. But you compare that to the FIFA corruption, its not even close. But JPP is an enormous turkey in his own right.

My vote ended up going to FIFA.

Props to RyGuy45 RyGuy45 for continuing to do this every year. Always look forward to it!

Happy Thanksgiving S&T. :nthat:

Props for doin this each year Ry.

I vote for Deflategate

Happy Thanksgiving y'all :pimp:

and this is a no brainer...it's Rodger Goodell in a landslide (deflate gate falls under him)

Rio and the Olympic committee should be on there as well...maybe next year. Roger gets the vote, dude is the ultimate clown

I forgot until just now about Turkey of the Year.. one of my favorite S&T threads.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

this is really difficult to choose, but i choo choose roger. he's a damn clown.

fully responsible for the deterioration of the nfl - the product sucks (play is bad, refs are amateur hacks/low key corrupt, etc), the criminal players are lame and the juice every damn opportunity to go to commercial strategy makes the nfl mostly unwatchable. can't wait for the season to end soon so there'll be nothing, but basketball to view

Roger is definitely overdue for his 1st victory. He could have gotten it many years, but other guys stepped up and had an epic career year and overshadowed him.. but he's been a consistent Turkey of the Year candidate for awhile now.

I think it's about his time.

As much as I want to give my vote to Roger (horrible officiating should fall on him as well), I gotta go with FIFA. Ridiculous levels of corruption and zero accountability.

Gotta go with Roger
Without Roger there's no excessive coverage of deflate gate. Had to go with him. Fifa is arguably worse, but since I don't follow soccer it has no bearing on what's popping up on my screen.

Jed York for me
More than an honorable mention here. Too many quotables from a balding nerd who, incredibly, destroyed a super bowl contender overnight.

Bevell/Carroll
I'd say Russell Wilson is more of a turkey than these 2. 4 INTs in the NFCC, game losing INT at the 1 yard line. Neither of those compare to "being celebrate." I just don't understand that.
