Her rendition of Mr. Telephone Man took me back to my childhood a little bit.

Word to

So you have listened to this album (not just skimmed through it) and were able to make this assessment? NT is always extreme, either it's a classic or it's trash.

Exactly

Tape is by no means "trash"

if you dont rock with it cool

but trash?

Hello with Andre is better then most of 99% the rap/R&B songs we getting in 2015

*complains about extremes*

Got Jay Elec popping up in interviews

Got Dre coming out of hiding and doing a feature

... she a mythical creature

This was underwhelming

I understand the telephone theme, but did she really need 3 interpretations of Hotline Bling?

I think its great.. she did a great job with the theme and making music thats extremely relevant yet slightly to the left.

people that don't like it most likely think young thug/future are great

I liked it upon first listen. If you don't like this, what type of R&B do you listen to? Are you a Erykah fan?

It's weird how they're selling a mixtape, but it makes sense from a corporate stand point. I don't understand why more artist don't do it, instead of bragging about getting a hundred thousand downloads. I stream it from Apple Music just because.

I like it.

Is it a classic? No.

Is it trash? No.

Definitely worth a listen especially if you're into Badu.

Been bumping it all weekend

hope she builds on this sound and makes an album

I think Thug and Future are great and I was listening to Badu when you was swimming in your absent father's scrotum son.

Been getting smacked to this since it came out. I'm not disappointed. She dead wrong for having a Drake clone on this joint tho :smh:

I like Future and Thug if that matters...
