And now with no club cause they terminated his contract in a couple months

Dudes one of the best to ever do it and to see him going from club to club over the last couple seasons is pretty sad.

However he definitely contributed to his downfall on the pitch (loss of commitment some would say after the 06 world cup, not staying in shape, partying, drugs etc.) it was a sad downfall to watch.

Its AI's own fault hes not playing. ****, he could be playing right now if he got off his high horse. He could've been a good role player coming from the bench but no, he still wants to start  :smh:
look at a guy like leandro barbosa, AI could've easily given a team some scoring off the bench in 15m

AI wouldve flourished with a playoff-contending Grizzlies squad if he knew his role and just come off the bench. 15 mins a game and will have the ear of the younger guys cause they grew up idolizing him.

Ronaldinho needs to come to the MLS.

Willie Mays is the GOAT for this. There are countless individuals.

Bj Penn is another classic example.

Basketball wise; there‘s been plenty. The whole, I wanna just win a ring so I piggy back.

Karl Malone could still bang for LA, but it was Payton who was extra loose fitting. He was literally done.

Andre Miller the Charles Oakley of back up PGs though.

Speaking of Oakley, he falls into this category as well. He was on the wizards mjs final year.

Veteran leadership is what's terribly missed in today's NBA. It shouldn't matter if these guys can't put up MVP numbers anymore. Their presence is needed in the locker room, on the court, off the court AND in practice. Yeah it's a shot in the heart to us fans (and some player's egos), but it's part of the game. I say they should play until they feel its time.

i thought karl malone was still solid as a laker, until his injury. it wasnt like he was on his last legs, he was basically healthy throughout his career.
