NFL Week 12 In Review...

cowboys
- what can I say about the Cowboys that hasn't already been said about Afghanistan (silky Johnston voice)

NFL

-all day. Adrian Peterson. 28. You are a man amongst boys :smokin

-I didn't think Russ had that in him. Was a fun game. Tomlins coconuts are definitely 757 bred...

-packers are sumn else man...are they gonna pull it together? I'm rooting for Detroit personally...I wanna see them complete the dream...

-Jj watt still at it...Texans d night and day..

- @ tannehill..He somehow ended up with hella stats but dude plays some horrible football man..just seems uninspired..

- Matt hassleback tho :smokin :smokin

-Brock oswilder and cj anderson :nthat: :smokin :pimp:

Falcons - During this collapse this team cannot score points to save its life. defense did enough to keep the points low and the team in the game again but whats they point if the offense can't capitalize, such an important game against the other current wildcard team at the time and you play like that
mean.gif

- Matt Ryan's season stats wise doesn't look bad and somewhat decent but when watching the games it doesn't appear that way. He has made some terrible decisions this year

Vikings - Teddy does what he has to do and Peterson still gonna be great. I wouldn't be shocked that if they keep the wildcard spot and upset a team in the playoffs.

Rest of the NFL - ODB with a really great catch again.

- Steelers and Seahawks was a really enjoyable game to watch and it was nice to see Russ have a great game. Also IMO Tomlin made the wrong call at the end there to not go for it.

For what it's worth the Vikings are currently first place in the division..

The packers are in the midst of a very Atlanta like meltdown, losing 4 out of 5 and they're currently in the wild card spot..

That could change tho..

This Thread is dead today. Kinda strange. Normally it will have at least 3 pages by now. hahahaha Lol.

Shoutout to everyone who kept Oakland in the playoff picture....especially Oakland.
:smokin

Aaron Lynch is a beast.
The 49ers whole coaching staff needs to go... Jed York is a dweeb.
****** calls in that game, but that's been league wide, can't blame the loss on that.
Jeff Fisher has won 5 playoff games since 1994... 3 of which came in 1 season.
Jeff Fisher hasn't won a playoff game since 2003, nor has he ever won a playoff game without Steve McNair.

- Kelce's Quan was :wow: :pimp:  . Best TD celebrations this year

-Hasselbeck/Vinny can play another 5 years if they continue this play as the OG's of the league

-LOB is not what they used to be but Sherman locked up Antonio something serious

-Demarius Thomas was trying his best to lose that game for Brock. Peyton probably had the grin on at all those dropped passes just hoping the Pats won

-Peyton is done in Denver.

-SUH was right about the Miami staff and players

-Brady has to stop crying for flags man. Even Pats fans gotta agree on this. Its getting ridiculous at this point and refs need to throw that flag for how he begs for them or cries and complains and yells at the refs in their faces.

-Clown of the Week-

-Falcons and the few fans who wont stay humble...I haven't heard or saw ANYTHING from the usual posters who run they mouth when the Falcons always start 5-0 or 4-0 and hating on Cam/Panthers. These dudes flat out suck and so does Matty Tap Water. Matt is the worst QB in that division easily. There's always an excuse for him every season too...yet there is no excuse for throwing end zone picks at this stage in your career as well as last week with a pick 6 in your own endzone  ...Please don't show these bums on my TV again

One of the best game I have attended in my life, but also some of the worst behavior from fans on both sides
I've been saying Baldwin is a good receiver and it has showed when Bevell calls a good game
Remember when Sherman wasn't good because you clowns said he can't follow the number one guy? Well he's been shutting dudes down damn most of the season and just took the best WR out of a game

- Texans continuing the streak with fantastic defense and efficient enough offense
- Seahawks helping the Texans by beating the Steelers. Defense came through when needed, offense played how they should for once instead of being bullied in the trenches.
- Will love Brock under O'Brien
- Pats injuries :x
- Falcons looking as funny as Young Thug. Their fans disappear fast as hell
- AD lowkey MVP consideration
- Jerruh Jones never thought about life without Romo. Enjoy eating the contract.
- need the Chiefs to start losing.
- Palmer's TD run  that took days, and falling over
- Chargers won, but what a sorry *** team. If Rivers didn't have all those kids, he probably wouldn't mind a trade.

Wonder why.  Maybe the season just hasn't been that thrilling.  I know it's been more frustration than fun as a Hawks fan.

Maybe because the NFC East is terrible, Seahawks are up and down, Packers isn't controlling the NFC North, and etc.

Been that way the whole year, doesn't have the usual zest
With the Duke Prince performing for people on & off the field, there is plenty of zest to go around so we ain't gotta worry about that.

A lot of poor and mediocre football being played by plenty of teams this season. Dudes aren't giddy to post about their squads like that, I guess.

That's my hot take theory without thinking too much about it.

Not 100% official yet, but the only thing I cared about coming out of this week seems like it was nothing more than a huge scare. Crisis averted and season saved, for now.

I'm not in the moral victory business, but I gotta say this dude Brady still finds a way to impress me after all these years. There are very, very few QB's or teams that could have pulled off that game-tying drive at the end of the 4th in similar circumstances.

On the road, tough environment, bad weather, against a great defense. Just saw the lead you held for most of the game evaporate, just saw your greatest weapon go down and dealing with that gut punch, a make-shift line trying to hold up and your top 4 options on offense are gone. Still went down the field in 1 minute and your kicker finished the alley.

Grand scheme of things, it doesn't mean much. You still lost and left more depleted than you came in. MAYBE it helps out during MVP consideration (even though right now I think it's shifted back to Cam), but that's not saying much. I just found that drive really impressive, even for someone with as many accolades/accomplishments as Brady.

And I get the refs sucked and all of that, but holy **** Tom was definitely extra pouty yesterday. I don't mind anyone screaming and chewing out the refs when it's deserved, but dude was just too extra with all his ****. Keep it moving, man. It gets annoying to watch. Belichick should sit his *** down and tell him to pump the brakes.

Honestly, the Monday Hot Takes got to be too much.

I like the weekly recapping idea, but the __ is the greatest ever, to a week later __ sucks horribly to yet another week later __ is back (byke, wahtever), etc got that ESPN'y Skip Bayless, PTI thing vibe about it.

As for the sport itself. Just in random thinking, I thought about how Jimmy, Dungy, Parcells, Cohwer, Gruden, Billick Mariuchi, are all great (or at least very good) NFL head coaches, but they make a ton of money doing TV, rather than actually coaching anymore. So we see tons of NFL "coaches" that really don't coach all that well. Retreads, has beens, etc and I can't help but wonder if THAT is a bigger part of the issue than refs or injuries, etc.

Iono, was just thinkin about it a lil bit.

Eventually you know what narratives are going to be spun before you even click in the thread, based on who won and who lost.

I'm pretty sure most NT'ers ain't dumb. Why waste time reading the same opinions week in and week out? Most people know by now exactly what will be said on over-reaction Mondays by now, it ain't as entertaining as it once used to be. Just redundant thoughts every week.

And like CP said, the extremes are too much. One week someone's GOAT and the next week they're washed.

The lack of rational and objective logic begins to ware on visitors.

IMHO.

In b4 a personal shot is thrown at me for an honest opinion, I know it's coming.

Crappy coaching.
Crappy officiating.
Crappy QB play.
Injuries to stars.
Few good teams/top-heavy league.
18 backup QBs have played this season.

Just a meh year in the NFL. Enjoyed last nights game, like watching some of the young guns, love what Cam's doing, but I ain't about to act like I'm watching every minute of a game featuring Josh McCown vs Matt Schaub. Nothing to do with "squads" either... I love football. What I'm seeing on TV this year for the most part is just not fun to watch.

Miko Grimes probably lost her **** at this

B-Marsh balled out yesterday :pimp: . Good things happen for this Jets offense when Fitz spreads the ball out and doesn't try to force it to Brandon all game.

Team played their best overall game since mid-October.

Lots of trolling and **** posters, compounded with a lackluster product.
