10. Air Jordan 1 UNC - Nike didn't release these for 30 years and once they did they didn't disappoint. Copped these off of eBay for $270 trying to avoid another "Chicago" disaster. But Nike surprisingly handled this launch well there were plenty of pairs available. Regardless, the quality was good on these and the colorway is a classic so I ain't mad at all.

9. Nike X ACRONYM Lunar Force 1 SP Black/White/Teal/ Court Purple - I know, I know these are the most hideous, ugliest abominations of the Air Force 1 ever created... But the same reason people hate these (That Zipper... That two tone color) is the same reason I like them. A unique take on the Air Force one that I think ACRONYM pulled off surprisingly well... I paid retail for these on 290 SQM if I would of had patience I could of got them for half price but you live and you learn...

8. Adidas Ultra Boost White - Kanye wore them!!! They are "the most comfortable sneaker ever created", they're like "walking on clouds", even though I wouldn't go that far they are still a really nice minimal shoe that's really comfortable. Missed out on these when they originally launched but I picked them up 2 weeks ago on that Footlocker restock...

7. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 "Moonrock" - I would've probably placed these higher if this release didn't leave such a bad taste in my mouth... First off I woke up at 12AM and constantly had to deal with sites crashing, backdoors, then when you finally get them in the cart that crashes... Either way my patience paid off and I was finally able to cop a pair of Offspring... For $288... Then I had to pay customs $60, then once you pay customs you wait 5 business days after that for your package to just be left on your door (Thanks Aramex), then the best part Offspring decided to send the shoe international in the best way possible in a plastic bag... My box was beat up but the shoes were safe and either way that beats paying a reseller $600-$1000 for a pair of these...

Adidas X PUSHA T EQT Running Guidance 93 "Black Market" - King Push and Adidas killed this collab, From the black garbage bag packaging to the fish scales and cracked Italian leather on the sneaker. They really nailed this concept overall... Woke up at 2:50 from my Turkey coma to go camp at Extra Butter when I checked Adidas website at 3AM there they were... I couldn't believe how easy they added to cart... Still think that it was messed up though for most of my east coast heads 3AM is too early to launch kicks...

5. Jordan X Supreme Air Jordan 5 "Camo" - If there's one word to describe this release it would be "Madness". From the moment they leaked pictures of these everyone knew it was on... I wasn't too sure about the Colorway at first but after seeing all 3 colorways.. I thought the other pairs were boring... On the day of release I could only manage to get a white pair I sold those to get these... I'm glad I did... The material is unique ( like a pair of Dickies) and they are just so loud but f**k me Supreme does what they want...

4. Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 "Pirate Black" - I thought I was easily gonna cop a pair of 750's... I didn't. Then I thought the TD's were definitely gonna get copped... I completely missed that launch on the Confirmed app so by the time these came out I thought I had no chance of copping... Zip. Zero. Zilch. Nada. I was refreshing that Yeezy link all morning until the page loaded I thought I had them but then... Please wait as we will randomly select people to be allowed to purchase these... I laughed... It just wasn't meant to be and then... It was! Somehow I got through (legitly I might add) and copped a pair in my size no less... These were my first Yeezys and I was so damn happy about getting them I texted all my friends, my girl, my mom my order confirmation. No one cared ( the life of a sneaker head). These are great shoes overall and were my first boost model I purchased... Best part is they don't get dirty at all...

3. Y-3 QR Boost "Primeknit" - These sneakers are not rare or hard to get... But what they are is a great, great looking shoe... Y-3 has been killing it for years but I always thought their prices were just too high... I finally took the plunge on this pair as I have been waiting on these since March when I seen them in High Snobiety... And I'm glad I did... Purchased these for $300 off Slam Jam and wasn't even mad about the customs fee as these shoes are totally worth it... These are high fashion and technology done right... I can't wait to see what else Y-3 releases in the next year...

2. Air Jordan 1 "Shattered Backboard" - Man... Nike f**ked up big time with this launch in NYC... It was doomed from the moment they said "First come, First served"... I went to Niketown after work to wait in line to cop these at 8PM except there was no line just a bunch of random sneaker heads standing around while the cops yelled at us and told us to come back at Midnight... I met some cool people on the line and we all just chilled walking around the city until Midnight... When we got there there was still no line... The cops told us we had to leave so everyone was just standing on the corner then the Nike security guard came up to everyone and told everyone we had to come back at 8 in the morning... Dudes were trying to stand on the corner I couldn't do it anymore so I went home and slept for 4 hours... I went back to the city at 6 in the morning and it was like a scene from the Warriors there was crews standing on all sides of all corners just waiting for them to tell us to line up... Once they did... Madness again... Dirty as$ dudes who don't take showers cutting the line, Ratchet people playing loud ratchet music, cats that just walked out of prison (seriously), Complete and utter chaos and worst of all Nike cancelled the release... They told us they would have a raffle... That Sunday Nike kept there word and did a raffle... I got my three raffle tickets and waited knowing I never have luck with these kind of things the next day at work I get a call from NT telling me I won...
Once I got these in hand all the things I went through to get a pair were worth it... The quality on these are bananas easily the best quality sneaker Nike/Jordan put out this year... The leather is out of this world and the colorway is one of my favorites... This would of easily been my top pick up of the year if one sneaker didn't release and that sneaker is...

1. Air Jordan 1 "Chicago" - What can I say about this shoe that hasn't been said before... This is the one that started the sneaker culture... A timeless classic. This sneaker looks good with anything (except NT denim according to you guys). Nike f**ked up so astronomically on this release I don't even know where to start... First they made a very little amount of these considering how high the demand was... Probably around 50,000 pairs... Then they cancelled their release... Which drove resell prices through the roof... I thought I would never have a chance to cop these as prices stayed in the mid to upper 5's for most of the year until Nike finally re-dropped them... But they did it with their new raffle system and I struck out but the good thing was that dropped prices and I was finally able to cop a pair off of eBay for $350 and they were worth it. Nike did this pair right with the higher collar and the Nike Air with the OG Nike Box. This sneaker hadn't released In 20 years and when it finally did Nike did them justice.... Quality is great on these... One of the top 3 sneaker's from the best player ever...
