Mass shooting in San Bernardino

I didn't want to make a thread about it but this black Friday set a record for most guns purchase.

Having a bad feeling for 2016
Some people head out on Black Friday to buy a big-screen TV, or a new coffee machine.

But tens of thousands of Americans this year sought a very different kind of item on what is expected to be the biggest shopping weekend of 2015: guns.

Federal Bureau of Investigation spokesman Stephen Fischer confirmed to Fortune that there were 185,345 background checks on November 27, easily beating the previous all time high of 177,170 on December 21, 2012, which was shortly after the Sandy Hook massacre in Connecticut.

The FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) data are widely considered to be the best proxy for gun sales.

With last week’s big jump, four out of the 11 biggest days ever for background checks were on a Black Friday. On the same day last year, the FBI conducted 175,754 checks.

Unsurprisingly, illiterate redneck Americans on comment boards are posting comments like "If you don't like it here, move to a different country" in response to posts about being upset that this happens in our country so often. Why not try to work to resolve this problem instead???

scanner saying something about a minivan on the golf course with weapons inside.

From the news conference
• up to 3 shooters
• upward 14 people are dead/14 wounded(subject to change)
•All schools and government buildings in San Bernadino is on lockdown/closed
•FBI says they DO NOT know if it's a terrorist incident
•All high profile places, like hospitals/schools/etc have police presence or on high alert in the surrounding area

Damn they got all the way to Pasadena? Where's the next stop... Staples Center? Having a news conference and ain't even found them yet. C'mon man!

first question should have been "do you feel like an idiot letting 3 shooters in fatigues get away in broad daylight?"

Watching the news conference now, the sheriff has no clue  prolly playing dumb but still

how you let 3 damn shooters escape? freakin clown college police department
mean.gif
Sounds like it was pretty coordinated. Area is desolate, quick access to parkway.

People at the press conference asking the same damn question but wording it differently. Like, y'all still will get the same answer as the previous person who basically asked the same damn question no matter how differently you asked the question

City of Pasadena twitter said there was a burglary suspect who was cornered outside his house near the mall. Nothing big actually going on in Pasadena.
