Guns aren't going anywhere so that's not even anything to debate as far as I'm concerned. You know how many guns are out there? Enough to where they will never go away.

Make them all illegal. Make all ammo illegal. Guess what? You can make any ammo and you can buy one of the billion guns already here.

Prohibition doesn't work. We all know that.

Yeah probably were headed to a police station or fire station.
Question is, who was at that party they attacked?
They had a definite motive for this madness to jump off.

Is tough to address the issue because crazies will get their hands on them regardless...but putting more legal guns on the street isn't the answer, just because you took 40 hours shooting in a range doesn't mean you are a navy seal with it.....look at our own police officers, shooting at ranges all the time, practice and training, come time to pull their triggers and how many times we've had them completely screw that up?

Here's my dilemma, I want tougher gun laws, because it's just common sense at this point, but I KNOW if it happened it wouldn't be applied fairly. Instead of a War on Drugs, we'd have a War on Guns and minorities would be disproportionately targeted, we'd have new mandatory minimums, same thing all over again.

At the end of the day though, guns or no guns, people are going to be crazy and America seems to have an overflow of said crazy people. We cant ignore the direct relationship between the closing of mental institutions and the increase of mass shootings.
