Dyed hair doesn't bother me.... Colored contacts bother me for some reason.

There was this cat I was hoopin with called time out cuz one of his contacts came out.

Dude was wearing green contacts. :lol:

I just so happened to notice his crew came in looking like Cali New Boyz all with silver and green contacts.

I dunno what started it, but I like it. We've been programmed to be ashamed of our hair and its tendencies, so it's really good to see people grow it out and do different things.

Kinda feel this way as well,I really don't have a problem with people growing out their hair as long as long as your hygiene is on point :lol:

We all haven't been programmed, that way. Some of us embraced ourselves, from the get-go. I've had long hair, dreads, braids, forever.

The next step is Black women getting rid of that weave garbage, and straighteners.

I've always noticed that blacks are the only races that keep a relatively bald head. notice the hair length of a Caesar compared to how much hair other races keep on their heads.

This too. This is exactly why I don't mind it. Let the young kids embrace their natural hair. It's not hurting anybody.

I been rocking this cut for the longest. Given the haircut regulations in the navy and the fact that a short cut don't look right on me. I always had the fro (curl) on top and tapered on the side.

The longer the hair, the more maintenance that one has to use to manage it. I am NOT saying you don't have to manage short hair but you know what he meant man.

And saying people of other races have worse hygiene is an ignorant statement. Almost as bad as claiming one group of people have a higher grade of love than others.

I was home ported in Bremerton, WA onboard a carrier. the only thing that made it decent was seattle, could've wet to Vancouver or Portland but never went.

People tend to turn you down for jobs when you look more ethnic. Keeping it low is acceptable but at the same time it leaves room for you to be fly if you want.
