The Air Jordan XVI returns in 2016

Like the majority of these retros the last couple of years I will probably pass. Possibly get the black and red if I can get them on discount but these price hikes are not okay when you get a stiff shoe that feels like cardboard.

Olive 9's been doodoo since 94  .

The cherrywoods...people fronted on them at first. Myself included, and I realized too late....:smh: . From my POV, it wasn't a wack shoe, it was a shoe where if the price was lowered I'd cop. I just didn't like the pricing point even with my discount at the time. I get to make the analogy clearer, at the time they were all NBA second/third team worthy and not first team. I goofed.

But but.... That wht soft a&$ toebox..... That cherrywood on graphite...... Oan the shroud both sides Were Omg but that graphite side...

Im a fan of this model but these can only be pulled off with shorts IMO. But I have to agree, I gotta see what this shoe looks like without the shroud

Looks like the elastic quilted part of the shroud is white instead of silver and the braille is blue instead of white on those samples. Wonder what the release version will look like.

If black/reds drop, they'll be a game time decision. I never owned the OGs wasn't feeling them then, and I'm not sure my opinion has changed. The lows would be copped without question though.

Man I hope they ain't asking for $250 box like with the 17s. Something tells me they will :smh: I wonder if JB shares sentiments with consumers and hold the 1-14s to a different regard and are using time to wait out the distaste for the 15-23s so it is possible to charge a premium price for them. Waiting for that nostalgia factor to play it's part aka "retro".

Also wondering if they'll be manufactured for performance with actual zoom and other tech or just a plain retro reiterating aesthetic appeal

when I played baseball, some of the older cats had the OGs and I always thought they looked cool until I owned the CDP pair...I can't do it now, I'll probably pass unless the Cherrywoods look good

I tried balling in the previous retro inside a gym with hardwood floors. They rubbed my achilles heel and gave me blisters. Not to mention they had a flat feel like they did not have any cushioning in the heel. They had no grip whatsoever too, I ended up giving them away.

any news whether the Cherrywoods and Gingers are releasing as well?

I had the white and navy and black/red in the 9th grade but missed out on the other two.

Need these! My 2001 pair is starting to fall apart, I wonder if they will come with the OG Jordan Face Box, I hope they do
