HELP. FLINT 13 ORIGINAL 1998 RELEASE LEGIT CHECK

So my boyfriend has been dying for a pair of these 13s for a while now and I happened to come across these OG dead stock pair. Brand new with a box and receipt. I found them on eBay and read all his reviews (which were all positive) and I want to give them to him for Christmas but i want to make sure I made the right decision since I'm not too much into this. These are legit. The only thing that throws me off is the purchase date, these come out on Wednesday, the date displayed on receipt is a Tuesday. Then again I have been known to make mistakes.

Sneakerfiles shows release date 2/14/98. I still have my og pair in the box. Not ds of course.
