His most tolerable album, one I actually wouldn't be embarrassed to listen to for a change.

Damn takes me back to h.s days. I know everyone won't agree and call it a classic but this is definitely one of my favorite rap albums ever.
Fireman video and the bape glory days (even though I still wear bape clothes)

Wayne killed Bape in the Hustler Music video. It was so obvious he was d riding.

They call me Mr. Carter
I kissed the daughter
Of the deads forehead
I killed the father...hardest opening bars in years.

Classic Album.

2nd best Wayne album. Carter 1 was his Magnum Opus. But this was amazing. Remember this like it was yesterday. Damn, 10 years already :smh:.

to be honest I never had this CD,  but since everyone around me played it so much I knew majority of the songs

Listening again, this album stands the test of time.

Still sounds fresh as hell. "Oh No" is underrated. Ran that back bout 3 times. Absolute bars, no hook over great production. Dude was really the best rapper at one point when HOV retired.

The Mobb is one of the best intros ever.

Solid Album but Carter one was miles ahead IMO.

This and TM101 got me through the 1.5 hour  bus ride to and from school every day

^yup

carter one was better than two. not by a whole lot but it def was.

think alotta people give 2 the nod bc wayne sought out eastcoast production for it. C1 had a VERY new Orleans sound and when it comes down to choosing between the 2, NY's gonna win the masses over everytime...

eventhough 2 was dope, if you really listen to it, carter 2 was the beginning of the end for waynes. he was still dope @ that time but the drop off was more than apparent.

I think this was around the time that lean started coming into the picture more frequently. that bein said, no surprise he lost a step...
