Nah man, it spoke to me.

Musically it was Bay Area Neo soul-ish which is what I grew up to.

The consensus from the public and critics was high praise. It's cool that you didn't like it but going on a forum crusade about why you don't is as just as corny as some of the artists you don't like.

I actually never talk about this album. I avoid the Kendrick thread like the plague because of it. It's just unfortunate that it will be the topic of conversation for the duration of this thread.

:lol: the fact that he takes it all in stride makes me feel like hes a cool dude with just an odd opinion. I have agreed with him on other stuff but most things he says are wild to me lol
 
I prefer his dark and depressed music. I didn't **** with his new album at all. Too happy and pop for me. Great voice though, can sing his *** off. I went to his SECOND show he ever did. Night and day comparing these two shows.

You do see the irony in this right? I said I didn't like this album and the pitchforks came out immediately.
 
BBTM was pretty damn awful, but WEeknd will forever have a fan in me for blessing us with Trilogy.
