The irony of using an Air Max 1 that came out in 2007 as the example of what the original mold (that came out TWENTY years earlier in '87) should look like is incredible.

Umm that was just an example, original shape from 87 is almost similar to that pair where the toe box is ironed down, look at the banana toes of today.

I can assure you that the shape of 87s was already off in 2007. Obviously not as banana-toed as they are now, but that timeframe was the start of the ending for Air Max shape.
Just found it ironic, but that's just me I guess. Carry on.

lol don't worry bout my life bro you have no idea where I work and how much money I make and if I own a house. Sneakers are a passion/hobby of mine and I like to see change when things are wrong. This doesn't take up my entire day..

eh the AM1 shape can be fixed with an iron which I did with my pairs. The hyperfuse versions still use the old mold but I personally don't like them since they are so stiff since they don't flex like the usual mesh/suede combo
