Official tax refund thread vol. for the 2015 tax year

is my 1099 Tax Form from Fidelity necessary to file my taxes?

i didnt make any gains, but lost some money fooling around on Fidelity last year.

Used TT last night, was wondering where the option of taking a pic of your w2 from your phone and it does all the work like in the commercial? :nerd:

I'm using the basic package on Turbo Tax and it says I qualify for over 2 grand on the Earned Income Credit and 1000 on the Child Tax Credit. But it doesn't show me HOW to get it. Do I need upgrade to Turbo Tax Deluxe or something? I'd hate to leave over 3 grand on the table.

Is more than 2 w2s bad?

Is it too late to avoid the Health insurance tax fine?

Oh boy...

If you got 3 W2's yall better hope you either didn't make a lot or that the Feds bless you b.

If not, pepper your angus.

So playin' in TT and did me and my wife jointly instead of seperate and there's a 10k difference......I'm laughin at how we could get a great deal of bread but idk if DOE gon snatch both our returns

Honestly tho, since I was only expecting 948 and she might only be gettin' 200, I'm thinkin' we ought to take our chances and try to get 10k cause if they end up snatchin' mine by myself her 200 ain't gon do nothin' but piss us off

What you mean how to get it? I'm confused? You dont have to get deluxe. Just have to put the dependents

Sometimes the where my refund stays on accepted until you get your return......the last 2 years mine went from accepted to deposit sent in one motion, so i wouldnt worry.....worst case scenario you can go to irs site and look at your transcript to fugure out your deposit date

The place my wife filed through sent a email stating it had been accepted. But nothing is coming up at all when she checks it.

Can I make a new turbo tO account , forgot my login info and security, it's also not letting me do it the other way

efiled 30 mins ago via TT... so easy man and it just got accepted  thanks for the pointers fellas

Nevermind. My wife's W2s ruined everything. She didn't pay enough in taxes last year and brought down the amount to 1k
