JB 2015, A year in review

Jordan brand made nuff money off me this year. I  don't know how i found all that money to spend on them cops. I'm an OG guy so not too many new colors i'm down with.

My favorite cops were Oreo 4's, Aqua 8's, Bordeaux 7's, Red 11Lab4, 72-10 11's, (SBB 1's & Blue DonC2's  which i need to cop)

Underrated drops to me were Laser 4's & Bred 1.5's

Worst drops were Martain 7's (which everytime i see them i vomit a little in my mouth) DB13's, Sweater 7's, Chicago 1's (looks like Ronald McDonald shoes) Pro Star 5's  to name a few.

But overall i can't be to mad. I got some holy grails marked off my list. Next year i'm excited for the flu game 12's & dunk from above 4's  
 
Only Chi, SBBs, UNC 1s for me.........everything else hyped, didn't give a rats or garbage AF!!!!!!!

The bred 13 lows were a real sleeper of the year for me, not the best (no Seidel midsole) but seems like everyone has forgot about them. They look great on foot too
 
This year was weak. A lot of boring releases. Columbias and Oreos were cool. Wanted the Georgetowns, but made the mistake of passing. 7s were mostly weak. Statue 9s, Sweater and MTMs were godawful, 6s lows got me SMH.

Anthracite 9s were an interesting release. SBBs were a pair I wanted to get my hands on but the release was too much for me. Maroons are cool as well. The only pairs I grabbed this year were the Hares and CP3 13s on a discount. 2016 is loaded though.

Oh and the Chi 10s was a struggle to hold of on. Would still consider a pair to this day.

A lot of weak drops this year. Most of the remastered line ended up in outlets. It seems like JB is digging up everything they can find about MJ and slap it on a specific model. Funny how they had bad sneakers this year and going all-out with the OG colors next year.

This year has made some people here in the PI shift from the Swoosh to Adidas.

 heard they were gonna drop it next year but it doesn't make sense to me imo. hopefully the wait is worth it

The year wasn't horrible. Got a lot of 8s and 1s so I'm happy. The issue now is Jb is to the point of the forgotten/no one cares model. 7-10 are down on most peoples list. Allows me to get my 8s simply so I'm ok with that
 
Good year yes.... Horrible or great year no there were a few really nice releases
 
best: chi 1, maroon 6, cyber 1 (also a huge sleeper)

sleeper: laser 1, white 5, xiii lows (which i still can't cop), aqua 8 (dat price tho), anthra 9's

worst: pro star 5's, sweater 7's, statue 9's, all those ugly xx9 colorways (xx9 is my fav hooping shoe of all time, but those colors are gross).
 
Best: Aqua 8s, 72-10, maroon 6s
Sleeper: laney 14s cause I slept too long on those. And 3pt 8s because something about the black tongue on the white base with those and the sweater 7s draw me in,, didn't buy either tho
Worst: low infrared 6s and actual Marvin the Martians

I think it was a good year in general.. We got a good mix of retros
 
I thought 2015 was a good year minus the XI release.

I slept on the 4s Oreo and Columbia. I thought I was going to save some cash this year and skipped on Js...bad move.
 
JB started the year strong and it went downhill as the year went on. I will say the 72-10s are probably my top release of the year, though.
 
I will revise my list and add the 72-10 11 to one of the top spots. Now that I have it in hand I love it. I also ordered the maroon 6s, we will see if my list needs any more alterations when those bad boys come in.

the remastered were made of imitation quality leather. not as durable as real quality leather.

worst
all fruity colorways. JB is reaching out to this market and its really hurting the brand and image. if it werent for all the garbage colrways. this wouldve been a great year. now its hard to remember the great releases from all the garbage releases unless we look back and think hard. a great year would mean evey release was a release that meant something to JB. now theyre just trying to put out any and every colorway just to create a new hype just like the OG non MJ worn colorways. except back then JB wasnt realeasing non game worn colorways every month, SMH......
 
There were good drops this year. I'm biased on 1's, so for me those were good drops. But I've seen a lot of other models sell well, like those 72-10s.
