NT what's your view on naps? Vol. Grown man ting

I try my best to wrap my brain around the idea of a 20 or 30 minute nap, but it fights back saying that's not enough time.

This exactly. Naps just don't really work for me - it's just interrupted sleep. Also, it disrupts my sleep schedule.

Love hate ting

If I'm tired I gotta rest up but then it takes me forever to wake up from a nap and also when its time to go to bed for the night I'm wide awake, causing me to stay up late and if I gotta wake up early the next day it will end up being a vicious cycle

can also grab one of the empty offices if i want a quick snooze...

Used to every now and then, but not at my current, been like 3 yrs, think I'm feeling the effect.

When I used to work the 5am - 1pm shift at work, I would nap from 5:30am to 7. Helped a lot, especially since I hated the job

sleep is essential to healthy living.

but too much sleep is being a lazy bum

I find that when I'm dog tired and close my eyes, I have the wildest dreams. But I'm not actually sleeping. It's like this weird hallucination state with my eyes closed. Anyone get this?

I remember I was trying to sleep and I realized my teeth were starting to fall out. I was wrestling around with my tongue and they started to fall out, as I started to freak out I hear my alarm and next thing I know my teeth were back to normal. I was basically dreaming that I was trying to sleep and my teeth were falling out **** is crazy

Naps are essential my g, you already know naps originated in the Mecca b.

It's like in our blood to take naps and ish. Biggie took naps, Hov takes power naps, Mike Tyson used to give out naps all the time.

I just had a two hour nap today. Love the Sunday naps. Just have to be careful because sometimes I can't go to sleep at night because I'm too rested.

I would love to be able to nap during the work week.

Or signs of a health problem.

Girl I know been taking a lot of naps lately

I said to her you might be diabetic..........didn't say that just to say, it her brother is diabetic an I remember how it was before he got diagnosed.

I'm currently on a polyphasic schedule.

The biggest difference is that I bounce out of bed now. That slight period of post-wake confusion x desire to keep sleeping happens alot less now.

Nah they mess me all up. I just power through it and face plant on my bed at the end of the day. I don't have time to take a nap mid day anyways.

I take them as needed. Having a full time job and being a part-time college student (and throw in that i'm 30+) it's essential. My body knows i'm not in my 20's anymore.
