Just moved from cali to minnesota

Oh great another dude from California moving to mn. Why do y'all keep coming if it's so bad?

Anyways there's a ton to do. Just don't be soft and realize it's going to be cold. It's nothing this winter so far anyways.

Yeah there's uptown but I think it's kind of wack over there. I'm more a cedar riverside guy. Triple rock and nomad are my spots. I wouldn't really recommend nomad to an out of towner though, gets hairy in there.

Tons of food. Not gonna make a list, just pick up a city pages magazine.
 
Damn OP I feel for you man. Left sunny and beautiful SoCal for minny...can't imagine the culture shock you're going through right now.

Hell nah. I'm quickly learning outside of California. I can only live in NYC. That just shows my lack of versatility, but I ain't trippin. I just came back from a trip in the midwest/south. I can't do it

Bro a few days at any place ain't nad, but to live here tho? I was born here but left when i was 4 y.o. now I'm bck at 31 with my kd n gurl aND I see why my parents left then.....for a better life in cali for ia.
 
But people from the midwest and south are cooler to me. I can see why they wouldn't like Californians, Majority of Cali dudes are sensitive and soft. Of course no one on here

There's a lot of Vietnamese people here too. I'm Laos btw but back to the subject, the summers are really nice here but for winter time just either pick up snowboarding, ice fishing and other outdoor activities if you want to be outside. Honestly, I stay inside during the winters :lol: if I step out it just involves drinking >D
 
how are the females out there? do you think there are fewer girls out there who bother to work out? i assume they can always cover up since it's probably hella cold out there lol

Under rated. A lot of hot women out here, but they go into hibernation in the winters.

Mann....i plan to stay here for about a yr or two...then I'm heading back to California fireals.

Being from the Westcoast n living therr fir more than 25 yrs and coming 2 this is pretty depressin..

I haven't stepped out much. But when I do I only see a handfull. I'm sure there are like one of thr poster said they probabaly in hibernation mode since it's so dam n cold here.

Yeah a ton of people come here from California. I meet a new one daily. Some are cool I guess. A lot are soft and cry about the weather like we love it at -20 or something.

I know a bunch of Texans too who have come here. They got a way better attitude and are always cool as hell.

Yeah and yeah I also saw you mention night life too which is always good as well.

Yeah we got a ton of skinny hipster type dudes who move to the city from the burbs or South Dakota and try too hard but overall people are in good shape for sure. You can find a bunch of different gyms for you depending on what you want. I found this anytime fitness by me that is damn near solely focused on powerlifting. Never knew anytime had that.
 
I always wanted live in Minnesota for a year or two but reading how much you guys hate Californians it looks like I would have to be fading dudes left and right every day :lol:

I mean also that in California you will get popped because a dude is feeling some type of way. On some dumb ****. Very emotional. But the people that are dope are DOPE.

:lol: no one hates anyone. It's just the guys that think they're from somewhere better. That will get you no friends. But if you act like a normal person you're fine.

Honestly the guys from New York are worse than California. You can't go 30 seconds without hearing why ny is better. Like come on man... You're here now so what's your point?
